  1. Cmon guys ,,, if you think Dubus didn’t have at least a framework of a deal when he was negotiating with TO , you’re all being very gullible,,,, I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but he basically used his family as an excuse to get more out of the TO , with always knowing that if TO doesn’t work and you don’t get the $ and details you wanted , then you go to Pitt,,,believing that anyone would give up at minimum4 million dollar a year job , and not having a back up scenario is as I said very gullible,,,

  2. Funny all these anti-Dubas people wanted him out of Toronto are mad he went somewhere else and are hanging on to a quote that became irrelevant when Leaf’s no longer wanted to negotiate with him. As a Leafs fan I see many of these anti-Dubas fans scared of what he might be able to accomplish outside Toronto. Only time will tell.

  3. You two are being way to nice on Dubas. Making an excuse that the ground shifted under him is nonsense. He said he didn't have it in him to go elsewhere and he won't do this to his family and show elsewhere next week. That's bs plain and simple, call it for what it is instead of making excuses for him.

  4. L O L At trying to blow smoke on what Dubas did ZERO CREDIBILITY in this video for Friedman . Dubas cost Dubas his job in Toronto by using the presser as a way to go back on an agreement he had with Shanahan and ask for more money and power that would of put Brendan out of a job and then Dubas goes to the Pens and puts the blame on his wife L O L . I was not planning on going any where but my wife told me to L O L . The guy is a WEASEL I am glad he is gone and good luck to the Pens because with that guy you are going to need it .

  5. Dubas just macked a pig of himself. He could just leave his opinion himself, and moved on from MSLE if he didn't get what he asked for, and that's nothing wrong on this part. His agents has already got multiple offers, or conversations with different teams way ahead months ago, not just after his presser, he found out Pittsburgh offering him his requested terms. And how he timed his Pitts presser before the Leafs', he definitely hold a grudge toward Shanny and or MLSE, and for sure, he is going to try everything he could to lure his ex-colleagues, coaches and players onboard. But I am amazed on the number of staffs and players that are attached to him. One thing for sure, that he got some really good human skills.

  6. I don’t think Dufas was too honest that day…i think he displayed his true Colours. Funny how Shannon was going through such a hard time in TO, but she approved his new position of Prez of ops. I think Shannon should take that vacant GM position in Pittsburgh. If it looks like a coup and smells like a coup, then what do you think he tried to do in TO. Wasn’t a winner in Sault Ste. Marie, nor in TO, nor in the Pitt. Smell ya later. He should have been fired years ago.

  7. I am concerned if Babcock is brought back he’ll start bullying and pressuring the players. The Columbus media is not as Hockey focused as Toronto or Detroit because it is Buckeyes in the news all the time. He can get away with more mental bullying. I hope the blue jackets pass on the bully and give someone else a shot.

  8. Way to go Philly, I have to remember Gauthier's 57 shots at Worlds; Way to Go Babcock!! Your name was connected to U of S, Kudos dude, but I think Columbus has bigger issues to deal with then Coach, a 9.5 mill injured defenseman last year, tons of young top defensemen; I forgot all about Toronto's Mr Amirov and his tribulations, here's hoping that he plays this upcoming season, even a Leafies prospect needs some thoughts passed down that way; I wonder what Pittsburgh does to offset their "Oldness" at center?? Seattle versus Quebec Finals!!! Way to go Mr Spurgeon!!!

  9. Babcock is a mistake. As a coach and human. I can't respect someone who did/does the things he has done. Nope, not happening

  10. For Babcock, a habitual bully, unless he has done extensive personal workshop, on his bullying, incl attempting to heal the hurt he created with people from Marner , to Commodore…….which doesn't seem to be the case

This is a step back for allowing a predator In to your locker room
