EF-3 Tornado Hits Perryton, Texas - Jun. 15, 2023 (Part 2)
Spread The Viralist

The tornado that destroyed a small city in the Texas Panhandle and killed three people claimed the life of a woman whose daughter-in-law said she was “an angel on earth.”

Becky Randall, whom the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Office identified as one of the three victims of the twister that roared through the city of Perryton on Thursday, “was born and raised in this town.”

“She lived for this town and the people in this town,” Randall’s daughter-in-law, Randi Cunningham, told NBC News.

The other victims were identified as 11-year-old Matthew Ramirez, who was at his family’s trailer when he died, and Cindy Bransgrove, 67, who was at a food bank when she perished, the sheriff’s office said.

Randall, who records show was 66, died where she spent most of her days: at the printing shop she owned and ran.

“That’s how everybody knew her,” Cunningham, 38, said. “She was big into faith and God and church and so that was her life.”

But at home, Cunningham said, her four grandchildren affectionately called her “booger.”

“Her laugh was infectious. She was full of joy,” the grieving daughter-in-law said. “She knew anything I needed before I needed it.”

“She was our world,” Cunningham said, breaking down in tears.

Randall’s death “definitely, that one hurt for the community,” 25-year-old James Myers, a high school teacher in Perryton, said.

  1. Ok so im laughing at the people in this first clip. U live in tx and have tornados. Yet let’s look at the tornado 300lbs a in front of us that is coming directly at us. Instead of finding a safe place or shelter. Then u scream yell fuck. Yup this is what I talk about people from the south republicans not having common fn sense. Then he says lay on the ground lol 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  2. How to survive a tornado by best option.
    1) Basement or storm cellar
    2) Far most interior room no windows
    3) Grab a helmet & jump a bathtub (again no windows!!)
    4) (caught in the open?) Get in a steep ditch & cover your head

If you want to film; film from a safe distance (no closer than 1000 yards.)

  3. video after video and the common thread is NOT the storm…its the screaming idiots who don't have any idea what they SHOULD be doing during a storm.

HINT: standing outside filming is not the correct answer

  4. I'm getting so sick of people not taking shelter when they should, instead choosing to sit there shooting videos with their damn cell phones, while being totally exposed. It's as if people have totally forgot about their safety procedures….. In the event of a tornado, immediately seek shelter in a basement or the central most part of your house, preferably a bathroom with no windows. Yeah, that's gone. Replaced with…..In the event of a tornado, quickly retrieve your cellphone, begin to record the tornado, regardless of what direction its heading. Be sure to stand either just outside your house, or inside your house, positioned as close to a large window or glass door as humanly possible. Stay in that location until you begin to hear breaking glass. At which time you should fall to the floor and begin screaming like a banshee. 🥴

  5. The first video … I can't even.

Maybe people who live in tornado prone areas should have to watch lots of tornado video compilations and documentaries so they're not so shocked or confused when it happens in front of them??? SMH they are lucky it wasn't stronger or moving faster.

  6. In that first video i was waiting for,
    man: "No baby no!"
    Lady :"Are we dangerous here?!"
    Man : "Yeah… We're dangerous here!"

  7. The things these people do to record events like these. If I was in their shoes, I'd be doing the same thing. On the other hand, I'm not willing to stick around for long.

  8. at 1:13 I know you want to get a good view of the Tornado. but it's NOT a good to do so. the guy standing in between the doorway. a car, or another heavy object could have come flying in the door…at 1:21 LOOK at the GLASS cracking all around them. stay away from glass windows and glass doors. that alone can kill you, flying in on you at 150-250 MPH.

  9. Men: GET DOWN! get as low as possible, protect your head, self preservation, gota live! logic.
    Women: EEEEEEEEEE!!!

We are not the same. Women are bollocks at survival.

  10. I never get why people have to curse and say all kinds of bad words when they see something that might end their lives right there. Would you want that to be the last thing you say?

  11. If some people should've lost their lives, it should've been those dumb fucks at the beginning.
Tnen barking orders at everyone else once the tornado was on them instead of warning them beforehand…

  12. This was a EF3 tornado, I can't imagine going through an EF5 tornado. Real behemoth's they are. I live in CA. Earlier this year, near L.A. County, and EF1 twister did a lot of damage within a business area.. It just
shows, no matter where we live, anything is possible with Mother Nature.
