The leading organization, in my opinion, that has Veterinarians and Chiropractors that become Animal Chiropractors is the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) They have a website with a “Find a Doctor” tab/database: https://www.animalchiropractic.org
This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

  1. Ooof is the sound of a dog yelping not one of the worst sounds in the world? It just hurts my heart. I am so glad that you were able to help that sweet puppy. I wish I lived closer for my 17 year old beagle/corgi!

  2. Did you know that the brains of the Samoyeds are not wired to understand evil? You can beat them and they won't bite you back. They may bite in a way of "stop" but won't hurt you. They do not get aggressions towards them. That is why they are terrible guard dogs. They do feel fear and the only way they can get aggressive is if you leave them in a cage in isolation. They get upset and won't trust anyone. They feel betrayed.

But that is why the dog is feeling pain and not biting, it does not compute to bite someone in "revenge". Pitbulls do that, most of them, not all.

  3. My volume is almost all the way down, one press and my volume is muted. That poor pup is so loud it sounds like I have my phone a mid volume when they cry in pain, that poor baby must've felt so much better by the end of thr appointment

  4. Amazing! My dog had an episode just like this where he couldnā€™t turn his neck to the left or right. We arenā€™t sure what he did, but it was after zoomies and heā€™s a crazy rat terrier. We are lucky to have an amazing animal chiropractor near us and she was able to get him back on track. He goes regularly every 6 weeks to keep his neck and spine in good working order since heā€™s nine years old but still acts like a crazy pup. We also do range of motion or cookie stretches and massage as well. Heā€™s doing fabulous but man, neck pain is the worst in dogs. You feel so helpless and every little movement causes excruciating pain. So grateful there are animal chiropractors out there to keep our pets moving correctlyšŸ˜Š
