  1. Might as well just get a scuba tank with a rebreather and anchor yourself to something that will cover you until the initial wave past then try to make it to the surface before you get the bens

  2. I sometimes think about these rich people that literally have their houses on the beach, the pacific ocean. Beautiful, breathaking. Even if I had the money to have a house/mansion right on the beach, I wouldn't because I'd be fright'd by the risk of a Tsunami.

  3. It's like when I watched a ton of tsunami videos from Japan and instead of going to higher ground people were running down to the waters edge to take pictures, or going for a stroll, or going home to check on things. If you're healthy there's no reason for you to be caught in a tsunami. I lucked out and was given a brain that works and knows that material crap isn't as important as people. Unfortunately, that's not the case with everyone.

  4. After seeing Japan's 2011 Tsunami, I know if I am ever living close to the sea, in any earthquake, I am dropping everything and heading to the highest peak I can climb whether tsunami warning is issued or not. When they give the final okay, I will get down. Not taking any chances with this sea. This is easily one of the most deadly natural disasters. I am not getting into any building that in not 5 stories high and more, 3 stories is not a safe option.

  5. I saw the 2011 live while in a hotel room. A image I will NEVER be able to get out of my head!! Seeing animals, people in cars running screaming for their life's. It was horrific. The people in the room with me kept changing the channel thinking it was the same movie on every channel. Until we realized WTF was really happening. Then WE ALL CRIED & Stood in shock! A day I was 10000's of miles away in felt it in every bone in my body!! RIP to the Japanese people!!

  6. That dude holding onto that banana tree, as a 6-7ft tsunami swallowed him up in a fraction of a second, was "Devastating"!!!
