The search continues for a submersible that disappeared on a trip to view the wreckage of the Titanic. Five people are on board. The Coast Guard in Boston says the sub lost contact Sunday, about an hour and 45 minutes into its dive. Butch Hendrick is the president and founder of Lifeguard Systems, which conducts dive training for public safety officers. He joined CBS News to talk about the search.

That is the benefit of mocking God
Those 5 ppl had a dead wish.. I’m not going into anything that I can’t open from the inside thats #1 #2 anywhere I can’t stand def not thinking about going in there for a second much less hours .
Why did they even go down there? Stop taking chances.
Anyone who has machined Carbon Fiber can tell you what happened. Try it some time.
people and there money …….
Oh wait well be down there for how many days ????? Where do i go the BATHROOM ???? OH , BEHIND THAT CURTAIN ???? NAAA, NO THANKS, JUST TO START WITH……
This video is completely worthless, Here we are a week later and now we know. Poof**** What a way to go
How do you make a sub without extra cameras for safety
a submarine works by being pressurized on the inside. pressure outside the vessel pushes inwards, pressure inside outward. if pressure inside is lost, the outside pressure crushes the vessel, an implosion. there could have been a collision that flash decompressed the vessel immediatdly. they likely died immediately
Hubris. Sank the Titanic as well….
This is very mojar incident
Why Does it matter HOW THEY PANCAKED!?…….
Like why is this a story!? If anything THIS SHOULD BE A WARNING TO ANYONE BUYING AN ADVENTURE TO ANY WHERE!!!
because obviously NO ONE IS REGULATING OR being sued for this ABSURDITY EXTREME CALAMITY!!!! Freakin wth 🤦🏻♀️ is this talk about how they died but nothing about the negligence of this company!!! 😢 hence why I don’t like to vacation in a submarine 😅
Turned out the male newscaster was more on the button than the expert.
Ehhh don't they use a rope for safety 🙄
nice so you sweeet
Enough all ready! RIP Mariners….
It completely baffles me that these people ( smart people) I would assume would actually get into this little tiny vessel ( home made ) looking vessel. Did they not realize the depth they were going in. What ! two miles under water.
Yeah!! it imploded!!
I only feel bad for the young man, because he didn’t want to go. In the first place, he should have told his dad NO.
Someone on TikTok said, "money will take you where money cannot save you". I couldn't agree more!
Yahweh's will..How dumb to think you are supermen..Now you are parts and piece for fish shark food..
If you get into something like that to do something insane then they got what they deserved period freakin morons.
I have a doubt. Please anyone clarify my doubts. If the submarine imploded due to high pressure outside. Why the titanic ship doesn't seems any structural changes or implosion due to high water pressure .?
The more you hear it the scarier it gets
The female reporter clearly did not understand anything she spoke about. The maie reporter did not seem to understand what he spoke about. Both of them should have just shut up and allow the expert to speak.
I wish the media would stop using the word Sub, to describe this vehicle a true submarine can not only remain under water for really long periods of time, it can also travel thousands of miles undersea without any contact with the outside world! Where people can live and work for months on end. In a vague sense of the word yes you can still call this a Submarine, however Submersible is the more correct term in this case, where as this vessel is brought out to the open ocean by a surface ship, then lowered into the water to researched in a localized area for short term projects. After which the Submersible has to resurface and brought back aboard the mother ship. Also many of the parts used to build this vessel had not been rated our certified for marine use, while other items seem to have been purchased at an electronics/gaming store. God bless all that have lost their lives. What a horrible tragedy, that could have been avoided had the builders taken the right steps.
