I think the dubbing makes people feel "distant" to the content including myself.
An example/ comparison is : a family member (you and your team Viktor) tells you something important, and you listen because you trust and know the family member. Compared to:
a complete stranger (dubbed voice) tells you the exact same information/ content you would feel completely differently about what you are being told. Trust, familiarity, caring all make a difference of how we all hear and perceive things.
We watch you everyday, or every video you post ❤❤and will continue to watch because we know you and your team genuinely love and care for all these precious animals.
I am absolutely NOT saying dubbing is bad. Growth & change can be uncomfortable. ❤😊
Everything I watch is close caption because I can't hear well. So it is no problem. But I wouldn't mind dubbing at all. Maybe I will learn Spanish. Right?
So people complain ignore it. It’s more about the animals!

So sorry to hear of the miserable people who complain about everything. Do not focus on what some nasty people say, keep your focus on helping these precious ones!!!!

It is unfortunate that people have to be so petty about who is speaking. It’s more important to know about what is being spoken the message the thing that does not change is that you are helping animals and that should be the focus.

I like to hear your voice, but I do understand the need to be inclusive. Yes dubbing is different and strange in the videos because it's new. I'm sure people will get used to it.

Hi Viktor l think people sometimes just want something to complain about. Dubbing is fine you are doing a wonderful job with your channel. I love your channel and everything that you show us is amazing, those beautiful doggies and cat's that you rescue and give them a second life. There is nothing to complain about. The voice of your brother sounds just like you. Even when he speaks in your language!. Very nice voices I must say!!! The only thing I say is, I have never seen a language or heard people talk so fast. So it is too fast to read every word, but anyone should be able to get the gist of what is being said.
What should I do for my 60th birthday this year? I'm thinking of listening to Viktor's youtube videos about old rescues. It seems like something fun to do.
You should make a book out of some of these animal rescues. I would buy it.
I understand why you’re dubbing/ what does sound very strange to me is that the English dubbing is in an American accent when it might be better being spoken with a European accent. Seeing as how you’re all European.
Viktor, l admire you and your helpers more than l can say. I know it is hard. I only understand a little bit of Spanish. My tablet can translate. I do

I like that you have more people taking the lead in your videos. We have all just witnessed how much pressure you were under being the sole voice for the channel. You have been looking so much better recently, but I am seeing more stress in your face in this video. I often read your comments section and think that you have a lovely group of people supporting you. The vast majority care more for the good you do, rather than the entertainment you provide. You have a tendency to give more weight to negative people than they merit. I think you will find that the dubbing reaches more people than the subtitles.
Edit: I think it is ridiculous that some English speakers expect a Spanish channel to not speak Spanish. The dubbing is awesome and makes it easier for me to watch, but it is an additional cost that could be better spent on the animals' care. What the hell is wrong with people?
Regardless; it is your channel, Victor. I believe you are in the best position to make these decisions. We have no clue all you have to deal with. You are doing a superb job.
How sadly arrogant that folks insist you all learn English! We are of similar age, and I think I've forgotten more French than I ever learned. The only Spanish I know is from bilingual signs (Piso mojado ha ha!). The thought of picking up a new language in a snap, is likely not on my horizon. I have ALWAYS respected and am in awe of multi-linguists! THANK YOU for all you do!

Vikter, you will always have complainers and you cannot please everyone. Part of the problem is this channel is foremost about animal rescue, but it is also about you. Take it as a compliment that people don’t want to lose you. But you need to do what is best for you and your family.
I have no problem with the dubbing. The male voice that has been used is pleasant and very easy to listen to. In fact, I was surprised you hadn't done this before now. Viktor – remember 'You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." All you can do is your best and don't worry about the nay-sayers and complainers.
Dear Viktor, you have all my respect. I respect you as a human being, I respect what you have created, this incredible rescue team and I will continue to support you. Change is part of life, we evolve, we grow, we adapt…but so many people fear changes, I do not, so I fully understand the reasons why you are going into the direction of dubbing. Everything you do is done to the perfection, so I have no doubt we will continue to enjoy your videos. Saving animals is the goal and I will continue to donate as much as I can. ( I guess many of us have started to see you as a friend, we dearly love you and love your team).
I really like the new dog behavior trainer. That is a great aspect for this channel and potential adopters, to show that there are methods to help dogs.
I must say I was surprised to hear the English version dubbed for the first time. I guess what is missing is the intonation and passion attached to your own voice. However, the real situation is that you are a very busy man running a very important animal rescue. Being able to reach audiences in multiple countries will hopefully increase fundraising to ensure your organisation continues. For the love of all animals, I trust that other members of your Chanel will be understanding and just go with the flow of what is necessary. Much love to you and your team from Australia. PS. Oh my goodness!! Not supporting an animal rescue because the videos have been dubbed is immature. So sad people have to be that way. I mean, grow up and accept technology especially when it helps unburden Viktor, poor overworked Viktor!
It is important to make the distinction between commenting and complaining. I am in the camp that does not like dubbing, I am spoiled by the passion that Victor has always brought to his videos. However, I trust that Victor is making the best choices available to spread the word about this amazing organization. It feels as though those who are expressing an opinion are being accused of being whining complainers. We are all on the same team here — let’s show openness to all opinions.
Dear Viktor, when it comes down to it, this is YOUR business. It is YOUR rescue and as such you run it the way YOU wish, in ways that make your life easier. Heaven knows how hard it is for you and all the wonderful helpers to care for the animals you rescue and provide veterinary care, food, grooming and a comfortable home to sleep in. What right does anyone have to complain about anything you do? If they can't accept things the way they are, it is their problem, NOT YOURS. I love you and your wonderful rescue Viktor. I love all the dogs and cats, the staff and all those at the fantastic vets who help all the animals. Do what is best for you, and don't worry about the watchers. If they don't like it, they can go. Vicktor, I have just become a part of your Patreon family. I want to applaud you for your knowledge and the fact you speak six languages. I as a small child could understand my parents speaking Polish. The biggest mistake I made was not learning to speak it. I tried French in high school but the teacher I had was only interested in us learning how to write the language not how to truly speak. Did me no good. I personally feel that every person should be able to speak another language. This I truly regret. Thank you for the wonderful person you are. Love the dogs and cats 🐈 you rescue. It is so sad that people who love animals and want to help rescue would actually leave a video because they don't like someone's accent or don't want to listen to Spanish with subtitles. Maybe I'm odd because I enjoy watching movies in other languages (with subs) so it's hard for me to understand this. It's amazing how much you start to pick up even in languages that are very new to you. My Spanish is very rusty but I will listen to your Spanish channel just to understand spoken Spanish better again, lol.

This channel helps save animals in pain, in the grand scheme of things does it really matter if there is a voiceover. PLEASE people get a grip!
Why on earth are some people complaining about everything. Mostly those who have no clue whatever, about advertising, business and what is involved in todays technical possibilities. Victor you are doing an awsome job. You started many years ago, as a one-man-show, I guess, because I am watching your videos only for a couple of months. A good business grows, and with growth automatically come changes. Nobody can expect that you personally attend to everything. Yes, it would be great to see and hear you in person. To see you interacting with rescues, in the clinic, on the road. But for goodness sake, you cannot do everything and be everywhere yourself. You are allowed to deligate. You are allowed to make changes….and if people "threaten" to leave, or stop donations, that would be manipulating. I personally dislike manipulaters, it's easy for me to say, let them stop donations. It would have an inpact on the animals. But is this chanel not about the animals? How can anybody stop a donation, just because they don't like a new voice?
It is very possible, that some people find the new voice less emotional. You have a very distinct way of talking, a loving, caring tone, when you speak about every single dog. The new voice cannot be you…..but it is still a good voice. Nobody can expect that the known faces, suddenly all learn to speak english. This is an international channel, english is the most spoken language. You are planning german, french for the near future. That already is an adjustment, more work.
