Woman Rescues Exhausted Snake. Now He Can’t Stop Crawling All Over Her | Cuddle Buddies
Spread The Viralist

Maynard was found in a trash bag, he was underweight and covered with burns. Stephane rescued the snake, providing him with all the necessary equipment and giving him time to adjust to a new place. A few days later, a timid snake began showing active snake behaviors, and that’s when the woman decided to take him out for the first time. It was love at first handling, and since then Stephanie and Maynard’s bond is growing.

  1. My almost 18yo daughter has a pet Calif King Snake we ordered two years ago…he is just the sweetest fellow! He's grown a lot since we got him but he's still got several years (and feet long) to go before he's an adult. He is just so gentle and lovable. Snakes make great pets and are deffo loving creatures.

  2. Thank you for saving Maynard. It is heartbreaking that someone burned him for kicks and threw him away. Now he has an elite villa with his beautiful enclosure and a new family who loves him. It is such a wonderful life skill to teach your children to be kind and gentle with animals. Thank you for your kind heart.

  3. I'm just curious, don't pythons get really big and live a long time? So what do you do when he's two or three times his current size and weight?

  4. I love snakes so seeing this rescue story made my heart melt. Thank you so much. It also shows again that, at least pet snakes, snakes can be more emotional receptive than we sometimes think. I have a feeling he knows you helped him and he is still thanking you. 😊 Also awesome to see such a responsible snake owner who knows how to read these animals!

  5. I’ve had a few snakes, they are exotic animals, not cuddly pets to over personalize. They like your warmth, but it’s not about attachment. If your too big they are smart enough even if starving not to strike, but if startled too quickly, or hurt even on accident, many will try. Ball Pythons are more tame, Boa’s don’t care, it’s in their nature. They’re beautiful to look at & hold, just be careful, the trust they show is not the same as affection. 🐍 ❤

  6. I'm not a snake person per say but I am blown away with how gentle and grateful he seems to be. Thanks for giving him a life he deservs. ❤

  7. This reminds me of the snake my teacher had. He was a albino corn snake. He was such a sweet boy. He let me handle him, and he actually loved curling around my neck. Never once did he try to, you know, choke me. I had ignorant peers in my class, who tried to provoke him to bite me. Yet I knew he trusted me deep down, and he never ever got provoked by them. Which surprised me on how calm he could be. His name was Chili, and I miss him.

  8. Ball pythons are looked down on in the reptile world. They're considered disposable snd garbage essentially. Its really unfortunate because they are such great snakes and pets.

  9. snakes are fricking AWESOME>>> u had a rescue ball python,. and everyone was scared of him,, but they are very easy going, timid and calm,,, the only time ever they can seem scary is when they eat,, caution to not have ur hands or fingers near or around their food,,, they are not at all mean,, mine bit me accidentally cause i left my hand in too long after giving him food,,, by the way i got alot of ppl to NOT be scared of snakes after owing mine,,,,,,,,,,, they are awesome

  10. I would not have a snake in my house no way. She says he would never hurt anyone. So tell that to all those parents whose babies was killed by one of those snakes. A wild animal is a wild animal instincts will kick in one time or another. They are who they are

  11. Horrid people or person who did such atrocities to this sweet baby! Thank you for your love and helping his heart to heal!

  12. I am not a snake lover at all.
However to think of him being abused mistreated starved breaks my ❤. I am so happy he has a loving home and is respected now

  13. I have a rescue ball python too (female), I named her Teyla after a character from stargate Atlantis 🙂. She is also very sweet and when I hold her, she rubs her little head on my face. She loves to wrap around my neck and just lay there. She's 15 and is my teenage girl!!!! 🙂

  14. Reptiles have such a big place in my heart and this sweet noodle getting a good ending is gonna absolutely have me sobbing

  15. no he dont not yet hes not big enough yet. i have a idiot friend that got one when it was about 10 inchs long. and had it for years and when it hit 17 foot it tried to eat him and would have if a passer by hadn't seen him fighting it and i wasn't there but it took the passer by his wife and two cops to get it off him. and the idiot still has that thing. but he no longer holds him when he is alone he always makes sure there are at least 3 people around before he takes him out. i told him dont take him out around me because if he has to fight it hes own his own.

  16. “He’s gonna kill your kids” is pretty ridiculous. A big dog could ruin a whole family. You can just say you’re uncomfortable with reptiles.

  17. I utterly hate snakes and spiders. They make my skin crawl. However, how Maynard was treated was beyond sick! I'm glad he was found in time and bought back to good health.
I disagree with her statement that Maynard would never harm her children (or her). It absolutely can happen. From the video it appears she's done her homework on how to care for a python and supervises her children with the snake. This is awesome and shows she's a responsible adult and parent.
