Star Wars Jedi Survivor gameplay walkthrough will include all main-story cutscenes and ending (and probably serveral death compilations). (Played on PS5)
Bonus Rules:
– Play on “Jedi Grand Master” Difficulty
– No HUD
– Disable Force Interaction Hints (so no indicator of which force power i need to use for puzzles)
– Disable Navigation Hints (standard setting = disabled, but I felt like it should be mentioned for some reason)
– Fight almost anything (see sidenotes. TL;DR: anything I encounter with a boss hp bar & instantly trying again if I died & anything that killed me before)(tbh, I don’t remember whether I ended up breaking this one near the end because I forgot about it…I’m hoping I didn’t, but if you find me not keeping myself to this rule, be sure to let me know so I can check & verify it 🙂 If I really did break the rules I should at least own up to it/try to do something else in return (potentially an extra hard rule in another game))

Sidenotes:
– Yes, I’m counting what I did at 36:50 as “Fighting/Killing the thing that killed me before” doesn’t matter how. If it dies from something else/falling or I can’t get to it, then I’m counting it as following the rules (the “can’t get to it” will happen in the future becauseI thought what I did would kill it, but it didn’t & if I went after it I would have died from something that I can’t fight, so counting that as “following the rules” too)
– I played this game close to release, so there might still be some visuals that have been fixed since then (like lower quality textures, slightly stuttering cutscenes & stuff like that)
– Due to not being able to see anything from the HUD I had no clue how the time-slowing ability worked XD (so don’t expect a lot of use from it, I think I realized how it worked maybe somewhere in the last 5 parts XD)
– For the “fight almost anything” rule:
– At least hit any enemy that killed me instead of just going the opposite way (mostly meant for optional random enemies)
– If it looks like a boss (for example: it has a big HP bar at the top of the screen instead of above their head and/or they are specifically named like Oggdo Bogdo was…or a Rancor even if it’s near the beginning of the game…): I must fight it to the death, even if I’m nowhere near powerfull enough to deal significant damage AND if I do die, I have to go straight for that enemy again & try again
– You’ll see me messing with settings in the first few parts, that’s mainly because I didn’t know whether I wanted “Auto lock-on” or not.
– It’s possible that I had a rule or 2 extra that I followed while playing, but It’s been a little while between finishing & releasing the videos…so I don’t remember everything.
– There was a boss I beat later on that took a long time (I will add a death compilation in the same video) after which the game crashed…I felt cheated so since I already beat it (while recording it) on grand master I did turn down the difficulty to get past it again quickly & then turned the difficulty back up. It wasn’t even “enemy has 5% hp, I’m gonna make it!” and then crashing. It was a full blown “I finally beat the boss, now a cutscene has been playing for a minute or 2, it changes to another cutscene right after…aaaaaaand it crashed…” while for some reason (that I don’t understand) they only register the enemy’s defeat/save the game after those 2-5 minutes of cutscene…(it was also right at the end of a recorded part, so I’ll edit out that lower difficulty fight & edit in a small version of this explanation as text there too)
Info on the game:
Star Wars Jedi Survivor is an action-adventure game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts.
The game is in third-person view and the story takes some time/several years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Once again we play as Cal Kestis, former Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 who in the last game retrieved a holocron with a list of force sensitive children from the clutches of Darth Vader, only to run away in fear/terror & then destroy the holocron.
In the time between the previous game & this one Cal has joined the rebellion/resistance & the group split up. Now a new opportunity shows itself and while Cal tries to take all the responsibility for pretty much everything that needs to be done, he will need to learn that friends don’t let friends do risky stuff alone.
