Dayton, Ohio — On June 6, 2023, around 11:50 p.m. Dayton police patrol encountered a gray Chrysler 300, Thursday near Stewart Street and Hughes Place. Video shows the Chrysler back into another cruiser as it pulls up behind the car. The car then went forward and ran over a curb. The car went through an apartment complex courtyard where multiple oeople were outside. Two officers on-foot appear to try to disable the tires and the man rolls away even as one officer pulls his service weapon. Only a minute later another crew spotted the runaway driver.
The chase was very short, about three minutes, and then an officer performed a precision immobilization technique, or PIT, maneuver, to spin the vehicle. A woman jumped out and ran with her hands up. The driver finally did do what officers asked and stepped out with his hands up. Police identified him as 45-year-old D’ali Brown. He was arrested for failure to comply, felonious assault on a police officer and obstructing official business, according to police. He also was cited for driving under suspension and window tint. The female passenger was not hurt and was not charged.

Great Job Police Officers for PIT Maneuver!
I doubt PIT will work on a Tesla, no fuel shut-off to trigger to cut power. Also they are so low and heavy, they would flip over an SUV and demolish it. It is hazardous to hit Tesla on the road. And when they are on Autopilot, hitting a Tesla is an even worse idea.
