The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad’s recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.
My love for the game only continues to grow as time goes on. I love studying and analyzing the game, with an unbiased perspective. Feel free to subscribe, follow me on social media, and celebrate this amazing game and it’s rich history with me!
I post videos every week on NBA history, predictions, hypothetical scenarios and current NBA topics.

Overrated af. real talk
he really should be viewed as the GOAT ..i mean what better player to have for a franchise …he can potentially give you 25 years….is the best athlete..best defender..best scorer…best passer on his position…you can build a team a gazillion ways around him… the older I get the more I start viewing the goat debate like this…if we put all players in the 2030 with the same conditions Wilt should clearly be the most dominant player..why is that? …well cause he was the one who dominated his peers like no other player
okay you knocked it out of the park with this one
I once saw Wilt beat Flynn Robinson in a pregame shooting contest from 3 pt distance.
BTW after 100 pt game he got some Knicks to give him a ride back home to NY. He pretended to sleep whie they bitched about him all the way back.
I loved his series vs Knicks when Lakers won the 71/72 title… With a broken hand wrapped in tape he dominated as a rebounder and passer.
I tear up thinking about no more Wilt…
Great video man! I’ll point out one thing… Johnny Kerr is the one who admitted Wilt broke his toe after a dunk, it’s his own story not one of Wilts! You’ll find the entire anecdote in the book about the early decades of NBA history, Tall Tales. If you watch this dunk and how high the ball bounces back up after flushing through the rim maybe you’ll find it more plausible:

Wilt will always be my favorite player the more I learn the more in Aw
After 20 minutes i was like, damn how long is that video. I was pretty suprised by the face that there is an 1 hour video of Unbelievable facts about him xD
Basketball is a team sport and that is the only reason why I don't have Wilt as my GOAT (he is in my top 5 though), Had it been an individual comparison, I believe there is no one in the history of the game who could beat the big Dipper in a 1v1 game
70-60-50 points game also he Double with each of the games. Damn
3:50

Now that's what you call a double triple double!
as for his vertical. the fact that he was a bit 8 college hiugh jump champ 3 years straight and his number would have placed him 11th place in the olympics infals in 1956 means he was a world class high jumper. plus even vieo clips you see him jumping with his hand being right around the top of the back board of 13 feet, his standing reach at 9'6 that is 42 inches and he is doing that in chuck taylors. which makes it more difficult to get your max. plus he is not even hardly taking a stop to do it.
as for him avergain 70 ppg in the mid to late 90s. in his day you could double hand check and everyone was right at the rim and wilt chose NOT to dunk all the time and take skilled shots. , with 90s and beyond rules of not even being able to touch a guy hardly without being a fould, with his insane speed, jumping, strength etc.. he would just dunk the ball 40 times a game on ally oops like it was nthing. he could have very well scored that many
actaully the 48.5 minutes per game and averaging things out to today's players isn't as simple as just that. the more minutes you play the more tired and less effective you become. and wilt's era was higher paced. and th 1/3 of the players actaully makes all the numbers even more difficulit to atain since you are playing the best of the bsest almost everynight insteand of once very 5-6 night. and the otp season for wit in blocks with 48.5 min /game is likely 12-14 or more blocks per hagme
Please do Bill Russell I think he’s the most underrated legend ever
LOL these aint even video numbers
Great job!! Fantastic as usual! The fact that most of todays younger NBA fans insult Wilt by saying Shaq is better is utterly ridiculous! If Wilt did not hold back because of his fear of hurting other players he would be UNTOUCHABLE in the G.O.A.T. conversation. As it is, prove to me there was another player better than Wilt. If you say Bill Russell, well, Bill could never score like Wilt. Also, if Wilt was on that Celtics team instead of Bill, They would've won just as many, if not more, titles.
Wow, a Jonny Arnett and Thinking Basketball Wilt mega vid on the same day!
Damian Lillard also on the 70 point list?
Wilt Chamberlain there will never never be another this man is a Demigod ! Above all the goat !
I think if anyone else could've everaged 48 minutes per game, it's allen iverson.
If Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell had had their blocks tracked in their era, I'd like to think the blocks list would look similar to the rebounds list, completely dominated by those two
Those unofficial block numbers are ridiculous. As much I think that Bill Russell is the GOAT, I truly don’t know if he would have had more DPoY awards than Wilt. But their All NBA defensive selections would have been about the same tho. Wilt would’ve had the all time triple double record too if defensive stats were tracked officially
Who else wanna see a video about Larry birds trash talking
20:32 Not just Donovan Mitchell, but Damian Lillard too – 71 points on Feb 26 2023. Still doesn't take away from Wilt tho
