This rescue took an unexpected turn! From a hot, dry, desert rescue to a cold, wet, water rescue!
I headed north to this rescue after receiving a call from Daniel Eppard about an abandoned dog in Central California. He spent a long time trying to gain his trust, but had no luck.

When I asked him about the exact location, he told me it was next to the National 9 Inn hotel. I decided to call the hotel manager to get more details, and he was super helpful!

I waited for 6 hours for Ghost to appear, and when I finally saw him, I knew this was not going to be easy!

I was so lucky to meet Jan (a guest at the hotel) and Samantha (who works at the hotel) – they both made this rescue possible with their amazing assistance. ❤️❤️

    P.S. I am allergic to cats but can live with them. I used to wheeze near them but no longer.
    Wipe pets down with distilled water on a washcloth every week and it reduces the allergens a lot. This may work for you, too! I also had allergy shots decades ago and no longer need to wipe them down.

  43. Aww, that kitten reminds me of my cat Kioko, who passed away recently. The same colors… She was a soul bonded companion to me. 😢 God, I still miss her.
