16. An interesting revelation I discovered about Ei, is that she knew what she was doing during the Vision Hunt Decree. She knew that taking away Visions were taking away their Dreams, and she was doing this for that very reason.
    The Khaenri’ahns Dream of Dreaming, which heavily implies that their ambition were taken away, I wonder if we’ll learn more about the workings of Visions and/or Ambitions if we look closer into these two things?

17. I still think archons are involved in vision granting, but in the same way that grants work.

    I've been on assessment panels for government arts grants. Artists apply for money to work on a project, then panels consisting of other artists review and score those applications, and even have meetings to discuss their scores. Then the top X% of applications are approved for grants.

    But it wouldn't be accurate of me to say that I gave that grant. The person giving that grant is the government agency. Even though I (and the other panelists) was making decisions that led to who gets what grant, i can't claim ownership of it.

    Similarly: archons can give input, and it's their input that determines who gets what vision, but they can't claim ownership of that process. Visions come from Celestia Inc.
