The bobcat narration is stupid, it isn't a random act of kindness, they had a metal shield made for releasing animals from traps without them seeing you too much, so it was likely a professional of some sort. And no it didn't thank them, it hissed and jumped at her cuz it didn't want to be followed.

One of our family's cats got out and decided to go for a climb up a 40 ft tree. Using a borrowed extension ladder, I climbed up to get the frightened fella. Once in hand, my wife and our roommate used a blanket to make an ad-hoc fireman's catch for me to drop the feline to safety. After the climb down and the ladder returned, I needed a stiff drink.
