6. Yeah it is sad that animals are abandoned but a lot of shelters either want a lot of money to take them in or they kill them in like a week if they're not adopted

11. Thank goodness for the lovely couple that adopted them together. I work at a rescue centre and it’s important for the good of the dog to get them adopted out and the majority of siblings do go to separate homes but as new rescuers you will start recognising the dogs that have to stay together if possible when they’ve already being through so much ❤

    Much like any other places on earth, Bali is riddled with stray animals. Thankfully we have a few local animal rescuer organizations, but they all are self-funded and, almost always short-staffed, because many of them are volunteers. Not to mention, running out of space to shelter more strays.
    If you ever find yourself in Bali, please consider volunteering as an extra pair of hand, donate money or dog/cat foods to these hard-working organizations. One of the biggest animal rescuer in Bali is called BAWA (Bali Animal Welfare Association). There's also a stray cat shelter called Villa Kitty Foundation that will always appreciate your kind gesture. Give them a visit!

23. the big problem is how long they gonna keep them? they're tourist not local citizen or balinese people. there's a limit for your stay in foreign country. you're not gonna live there forever with the dog unless you're local citizen. you had to go back to your home country someday without the dog.

47. I heard there are so many homeless and sick dogs in Bali. While I’d love to go there someday for a beach vacation, I would probably cry daily if I saw so many sick, homeless, and abandoned dogs! 😥
