🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. I remember eating ants in cobwebs in London uk as a daft prank by my big brothers- I was 5 – they not much older. Said it was special candy floss
    I quite liked it 😂

  2. I'm really loving this cohost. He could be a stand-in for Calvin anytime! I lived in rural Myanmar, and it was identical to this way of life. It's a wonderful reminder that less in more when you see how much happier the people in these villages are.

  3. This one was funny to see Sonny finally almost fold before the guest folds during that crab partMan took revenge on the crab, while sonny didn't have a reason to LoL

  4. Hey Sonny it is true, the Lao diaspora community has learned to bring their culture along with them. As a Lao American, it is ironic that I would like to visit the country my grandparents had fled. Like Yia said, hearing about the homeland from older generations had always sparked a curiosity in me as well. It's refreshing to see Lao culture being put in the limelight.

  5. I’ve seen Sonny eat just about everything there is to eat this earth can provide but I’ve never seen him react the way he did when he put that second crab in his mouth! Clearly that was a unique experience!

  6. I made a friend eat ants once then he cried because his stomach hurt, i don't think i would eat ants intentionally unless i was starving to death.
