I enjoy your presentations. I did want to let you know that Beaufort, SC is not pronounced like Beaufort, NC. In NC it is Bow-fort in SC it is Bew-fort. Weird, but like Houston, TX (hew stun) and Houston (house ton) county, GA they are said differently.

Case #1 oh man, so let's review, has a GPS tracker on from a previous offense, then proceeds to commit a murder with said GPS STILL attached.
That Hampton guy was a real dullard. Not only did he commit a murder, but left many irrefutable clues. And then the authorities did nothing for 17 years…
So good to see solved cases, but hate it when the murderers die before justice is served. May all the victims rest in peace 🙏

I really feel sorry for Cathy’s family! It took 35 years and lots of hours of work to find out the monster was the first name given to the police at the time of the murder! Why on earth wouldn’t they have at least tried him before letting it go cold! Her daughter was mi-30’s when this whole nightmare might have been solved quickly!

i hate to be so nit picky but this bothers me so much😅
solved case = someone either plead guilty to the crime or someone was convicted
unsolved case = no one has plead guilty to the case and no one has been convicted
open case = the case is still being investigated
closed case = no further investigation is taking place (may be temporarily or permanently closed) (cases where someone is awaiting court are not closed cases)
cold case = an open case that is still being investigated, just not actively
