1. Jack Minassian – associate professor of "fire science" at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, says: "The water is a last resort to escape a fire. The better option is to evacuate early." Duh! I wonder if professors at the University of Hawaii are required to take an IQ test before their contract is renewed? Due to the high winds, the firestorm overwhelmed those poor people before they had time to evacuate – jumping into the ocean WAS their last resort. I sure wish professor Jack Minassian would jump into a large body of water.

Another major static was that over 60% of Americans don't prepare for any form of Natural Disaster even though over 80% of American counties get hit by one or more than one Natural Disaster per year and that definitely seems to have increased over the past several years. So what I'm saying is please start thinking, planning, researching, and become more prepared in your homes and vehicles, because you never know when Disaster will strike your area and you may have to abandon and leave everything you have behind. No one is exempt anymore.
