As someone who used to work for 36 hours straight, have 12 hours off to work then 36 hours on again ..I understand the lack of sleep part … Whilst awake but trying to sleep I would stare at a model ..can't quite remember what the model was of ..but it would dance and be wavy …it got quite bad when you'd rub your eyes and close them for ten seconds to the point where it would be normal again but start being all wavy about three seconds later
