  1. I appreciate your deep thoughts on the ethical issues, financial challenges, corporate culture vs independent rescues and vets. Institutions usually develop protocols to deal with general procedures and policy interfacing with the governmental/political rules. It is difficult to keep the founding spirit of service alive over time.
It is a challenge to deal with death and poor choices some animal owners make. The cruelty to animals you encounter also takes a spiritual toll. Stress and having to comply with owners' wishes to not perform life affirming procedures a vet could do chips away at the spirit as well. Saving lives is sacred work. Not talking about religion, I am talking about love which connects the unconditional love of the animal to its human! That is a spiritual connection.
Thank you for choosing to rescue animals, for making these videos. In talking about the technological changes in medical equipment, Rx and tools, the internet which has given you the opportunity to communicate your truth to me has made the economics of rescue possible. I would love to discuss more of the issues you raised, but I don't know if you have the time to read this. Thank you! I hope my comment and interest in your work encourages you. May the world be enlightened and inspired to be kinder to each other because of the example you share.

  2. I call them Profiteering……And I'm sorry sooner or later They will come when you or your vet friend are old and we can't control things anymore.

  3. This appears to be a worldwide crisis and a threat to domestic pets. Not only the animals but the veterinarians themselves are suffering because they are forced to work harder and longer hours with lower pay, while a large percentage of the fees goes to the corporate heads, who do none of the work. This has produced a shortage of vets, who do not wish to work under these conditions. Perhaps there should be anti-monopolistic legislation to break up the widespread corporate buy-outs of veterinary clinics and animal hospitals.

  4. Виктор, добрый день! Я плачу 😢,как можно издеваться над животными 😢😢😢??? Кровь в жилах стынет,от боли:-( когда видишь бедных хвостиков в таком состоянии:-(🐕😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏❤

  5. Excellent video Viktor, it ALL made sense! I hope your explanation of the high cost of vet care helps viewers understand that it is also tied to the advancement of medical technology and the move to large veterinary groups and away from the small independents. Same is happening with human health care. It's all being consolidated into these mega medical corporations under the guise of being "more cost efficient". Sadly, it's the sign of the times.

  6. In Sweden it's to expensive to neuter and spay let alone do anything else. It's sick! We should boycott the vets who doesn't care about the animals. And support those who do. As much as possible.

  7. It's hard to find independent vets anywhere now. GREED has driven the big corporations to take them over, and charge astronomical fees. It's sad to say these corporate vets seems more in profit , than the welfare of animals. Once again it's greed ,greed, greed.
Viktor it is not just in Spain, that these big Corporations have taken over, the UK is rife with these corporate vets as well. The government's of these countries must do more to restrict these corporate vets, and let the customers have a fair deal to choose, and not be cheated out on costs, by these corporate vets, most of which are grossly over charged. In my opinion it's just greed.

  8. I’m so glad Bianca’s surgery had not started when Jairo asked for an explanation! Because you all try to keep us all informed, you found you had a faulty product.
Thank goodness for this because it obviously stopped an unnecessary surgery.
Hopefully next time, the surgery will be a success ❤
