19. The reason is because she was abused by people she doesn't trust. It's different for the puppies because they don't know any difference. It will take time for stellar to trust anyone. It's disgusting what people do to dogs and cats as well.

33. Stella is looking so much better 🦮; she’s filled out & has a beautiful shiny coat 🥰. She has vastly different experiences with humans than her happy-go-lucky puppies this time around & she is still very wary of what they might do…🤔. Time with love & patience will slowly bring her around; especially with the loving 💕hands of Takis showing her the way 🙏.

34. She's very sweet and she's a good dog. People just weren't good to her before. It'll take her some time.

35. Stella's front paw has some swelling in one or two toes. We do not know how old the injury is. Any fracture of a toe bone, or a joint sprain or torn ligament or tendon will take longer to heal if it was not treated properly at the time of injury. Takis ALWAYS takes his injured or sick dogs to the vet -when the vet is open – after he rescues them. Stella's toe injury is not life threatening, and she is already putting weight on that paw more than she did when Takis got her in the trap in town. Stella's greater need now is to learn to trust humans working or visiting the shelter. She also needs to care for her puppies. It is disappointing to read comments from people who think that Takis does not take his dogs to the vet when they need medical attention. Shame on you.

36. Takis is her world now and her babies, the friendly visitors came to soon. I hope she will still feel save in her new place. Now that she experienced others can come in her space as well. She is such a lovely 🐕 dog. And someone was giving her food, she was not skinny. God bless you whoever you are and God bless Takis who has dedicated himself to save countless lives.

42. Bless her, Stella has not had good experiences with people maybe in the past which has effected her. It will take time for her to learn to trust again + a lot of love & patience. Takis is the ideal person to help her gain confidence. She is such a sweet dog & excellent mom to her pups.❤
