36. Just because a bear is brown doesnt mean its a grizzley. You are incorrect about that. While they both belong to the classification of Ursus arctos a grizzley bear belongs to the philem ursus horrobilis. A Kodiak bear is brown..does that make it a grizzley? ❤

42. You’re not going to see a full grown grizzly climbing trees. They’re almost all over 1,000 pounds. That’s a lot of weight to come crashing down in a fall. Animals know what they will and won’t survive, it’s why they’re reticent at confrontation if it’s unnecessary. They’re so damn majestic though. I love these guys.
