For instance, between 10 to 16 months a baby will start standing up by itself and begin learning to walk. Saying a babies age in years isn't practical because an awful lot of development is happening month to month. It would be like referring to when a movie comes out only by the decade rather than the specific year, say Avengers: Endgame came out in the 2010s.
