My dog had a stillborn and I whisked it away so she wouldn’t see it. I swear she looked for it for years and never got over it. Don’t do that, let them see it is dead before you take it.

It’s like she got a human mother experience. Her children didn’t make it through birth so she adopted and took care of them like her own, and when they were old enough they left.
