  1. I cannot tell you how much money you have saved me and built my confidence when it comes to working on cars. I honestly used to just have my car serviced and I always got ripped off. Your videos and the great detail you put has helped me work on my own car. Your enthusiasm makes it really fun to work on and not a hassle when I have to maintain my vehicles. From your videos, I have been able to easily work on my Mazda RX8, Ford Explorer, and Jeep Compass. No longer will I have to spend thousands of dollars on mechanics when it will typically cost me less than 200 hundred and I learn something new. Thank you, Chris.

  2. You! You so important to many many many people out there! You rock! You, you are SO Awesome! Thanks a lot Chris! You always bring smile and enjoying energy to me and the nice and hopeful feeling that i can do it myself! Love all these stuff. Putting new stuff into the car is always so freaking sexy! The feeling is undescribable! It just feels so good and great in my heart when i put new stuff into the car replacing old ones! Knowing that the car will run so much better without struggle. Love being able to change and do all these stuff by myself! Thank You so much again, Chris! Your are one of the Best! If not the best!

  3. And , if you have zero angle on a prop shaft, the uni’s wear faster due to a constant side load on the same needle rollers, a slight angle helps to spread the load over all the needle rollers and not just a couple

  4. Outstanding job! I only wish you would have added seized caps. You used channel locks. I had to cut squared edges on the end of the cap; enabling a wrench to fit, then added a 6’ pipe to the wrench handle for leverage. After many turns and penetrating oil I inserted a 2’ flat screwdriver into the same hole I cut for the wrench, placed a fulcrum wherever I could and pried up. Some extracted, some were a much larger battle. Also my F-250 has a different design than your examples; including 3 joints in the front shaft alone.

  5. Good video. Just 1 thing… a driveshaft is balanced on its own. Certainly installing in the same position is helpful but not necessary. Also, if that u joint is bad or any time you add new u joints, the driveshaft should go to a shop for rebalancing.

  6. I have vibration when in drive or reverse only while idling. I have also noticed a clunk when changing gears, mainly drive. I was thinking mounts are the issue but maybe u joint? Could the vibration be anything more serious?

  7. Such a great video, Chris! Thank you so much for clearly explaining this process with all the different types. I didn’t know about the plastic injected type. Turns out, that is what I have and you saved me so much frustration and $ 🙏🙏🙏

  8. Just a reminder, if one is in to skipping a step, the skiped step is using retarded pencil. Yet no time waisted by not marking hard metal parts with a preppy specialty pencil. Hopefully one might have marked one side being a liberal or something. Whatever! If… skipping the mark won’t be a problem as the drive line is a balanced piece. When putting on an unmarked driveshaft upon completing the job take a test drive; if the vehicle vibrates stop and rotate the driveshaft one quarter turn and then it will be perfect.

  9. Thanks man! Getting a job attaching u joints to drive shafts.. never done it before so now I somewhat know what's going on! Thanks for helping me make some money man! 🤘💪🙌

  10. I just ran across this video and it is the first one I have watched on your channel. You did a phenomenal job on this video. Amazingly informative and clear explanation on each step. THANK YOU!
