We live in southeastern Illinois on a 41 acre homestead. We just finished building our log cabin in 2018. Now we are focused on trying to grow our own food and raise livestock. Follow us on our journey we continue to develop our homestead and farm, while becoming more self sufficient.

  1. Tractor Time with _ has a video with decent explanations on the hydraulic top link. Yes I did same with valve on a jd2840 maaaany years ago. Did not have a set of manuals. Tore into hydraulic cylinder and long story finally figured it out it was the valve. I bought tractor at a auction and they did not work but bought anyways. Lots of lessons on that job.

  2. I ordered something from Amazon last month, and I'm still waiting on it, even though they have removed the money from my account. I'm in northwest Florida, and last I checked, it was in an Amazon warehouse in Alabama. That was a week ago.

  3. Evan next time try it with tines the whole way down only using them first and not the blades. Do 2-3 passes to loosen everything up grass clods/ gravel then it should be easier to only use the blades, tines in the up position! Good luck man love the videos!

  4. It can happen to even the very best tradesmen, but thanks to your integrity it becomes a huge positive to all your viewers. Well done Sir.
