This is a video I REALLY didnt want to make. The flipping series ended when the Rover 75 arrived as I liked it so much, but the time has come for it to find a new loving home, so some final love in the shape of rust proofing and a last big clean.

  1. A sad day indeed, but at least it will live on. I am going to have to say goodbye to Arthur, my 1990 Volvo 240DL estate. I took it in to get some welding done, and it is too far gone to make sense doing it. It would take a full on restoration to make it safe. The odd thing is that Ma took delivery of him 3 days before her 60th birthday. I got the news about Arthur 4 days after Ma died. Still, parts of Arthur will live on in other 240s. A real shame because at just shy of 400,000 miles, the old boy still runs with the best of them.

  2. Lucky next owner. I'd have moved on the Crown Vic, but I've watched enough of the channel to understand why that couldn't possibly have been the decision.

  3. So sad to see the Rover is on her way, i think you knew that is was going to be a unpopular decision. Best car of your fleet in my opinion. But i am being biased 😂

  4. The 75 was the car that should have saved Rover, but I think they were simply too far gone by then. As a former Austin, Morris and Rover owner, I miss them.

  5. The Yank asks… Lanolin??
Little red ring about an inch from the end of the nozzle would be handy, Mr. Undercoating manufacturer.

  6. Matt 😂 the suit doesn’t SUIT you 😆 oh that’s more like it…the wrenching cloths 👍 sad to see the 75 gooooo but sometimes it happens. Hopefully, it’ll get an owner who’ll love it to death. GLAD the Crown 👑 Vic is there 4ever! 🏁🛞💨

  7. I feel your pain. My rover 75 was the last car I truly loved, sadly became the victim of the dreaded head gasket mayonnaise disaster. Got a mk3 mondeo afterwards that was on paper a much better car, but I never got out of it and just admired its aesthetics like I used to with the 75

  8. It’s a pity this beautiful car is leaving the fleet, I wouldn’t say I’m a Rover enthusiast, but I do like this one, it really does look very prestige.
Good luck with the sale Matt, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I will miss this car!.

  9. I’ve always had a soft spot for these, and as lots of folks have said, it deserved to do better… but it’s launch, and subsequent sales were essentially ‘assasinated’ by the then CEO of BMW😢
