12. I love what you do. I rescued a dog in South Los Angeles by my mother's home. It is sad to see how my childhood community treats their pets compared to where I live now in Pasadena. The culture is entirely different in how pets are seen. They are part of the family. I hope I did not sound judgemental or hypercritical, but I see it so much when I visit my childhood neighborhood of South Los Angeles, where dogs are abandoned and not spayed or neutered. Cats and dogs are wandering around.

20. I realize this was 8 years ago but really, his owner (dirt bag that is) left a year previous and no one took him in or surrendered him to a shelter. Shameful!!!
