Bear is out of surgery and everything went well and they were able to save his ear canal. A few important nerves and muscles were connected to the mass so they had to be cut off. There shouldn’t be anything that would affect him long term, but worst case: it would affect his ability to blink so he’d need eye medication. The mass weighed 3.5 POUNDS! He must be feeling so relieved to have that thing off.

❤ aww what a shame this old boy has been wandering around with that weight and just by seeing this short it looks like it was really heavy and he struggled to hold his head, thanks to the lady that fed him and to the rescue people and the vet team.
