  1. Definitely check the cable. My cable is good but the TV can't detect my laptop. Turn out I plug the HDMI cable in TOO DEEP ? I Have to wiggle it out a bit so that the cabke made good contacts =)))

  2. Fixed! Windows X, I had a bad driver I downloaded a new one then Windows P, I changed my settings and boom it worked! Thank you so much!

  3. I can not thank you enough, after i changed my hard drive to ssd and also changed the rams on my laptop my hdmi wasnt working which made me think that i damaged something while repairing it but after using the troubleshooter it immediately worked. THANKS AGAIN!!

  4. whoever READING THIS COMMENT, i want to save you all the troublE!!!!! there are times that updating your driver to latest version is problematic so better stick with the drivers recommended by your manufacturer.. i almost throw around 800$ thinking that my old laptop's problem is the hdmi port because i have tried brand new cables and brand new monitors however my screen keeps on flickering.. i really thought it was my hdmi port in my pc.. now i decided to downgrade my driver and use manufacturer recommended driver.. and the rest is history.. no need to buy new laptop!!! ddaaaeeeyyyyymmmmm!!!!!
