He would likely have endured the pain for more than three days before they found him. They started him with painkillers, and antibiotics and managed to stabilize him. A small lump of pain and despair, it’s impossible to look at him without tears. In the clinic, they cleaned the wounds on his back under sedation and installed drainage – pus was already everywhere. He is now Juno and just less than two months old. And about that nightmare, about the pain that he had to endure, he will soon forget.
