  1. Both my grandfathers served in Vietnam, one volunteered and the other was drafted, the one who volunteered ended up dying in 2013 by being exposed to agent orange and the other fought in the battle of Hamburger hill

  2. My grandpa served in Vietnam.
    Wasn't drafted, enlisted willingly.
    Served from 1967-1975.
Was 18 when he went in, got a lot of promotions, saw a lot of people die.

Died from kidney failure in 2019.

    Gunnery Sergeant Glenn Davis (1948-2019)
    USMC Platoon 1004.

  3. It's ironic. The US came to Vietnam with their military, guns, and ammunition. They dropped napalm bombs on the Vietnamese people. They used weapons like compound bombs and B52 planes to bomb everywhere. They used Agent Orange, a harmful chemical that changed the ecosystem, on the land and forests. And when we, the Vietnamese people, fought back, the US claimed to be the "victims." I am from Vietnam, where are you from? Give me your address, I will bomb your house and then tell the world that "I am the victim." Do you think that is fair? The US had no reason to be in Vietnam. We, the Vietnamese people, have never and will never bomb Americans like the way the US did to Vietnam. The Vietnamese people always forgive the crimes committed by former American soldiers when they came to Vietnam with remorse. Come to Vietnam and see the "achievements" that the Americans left behind, which are much more horrifying than those inflicted by former American soldiers.

  4. The civilians had it WAY worse then the Americans, they were the people oppressed and killed by both sides. Can’t believe what these “heroes” did, they only killed and massacred an innocent population for a pointless cause.

  5. What are you capt obvious? However 58 thousand Americans died . 😢 But the viets over 1 million were killed by our hands 😅 brings joy to our American soldiers .
