i am not a dog lover by any stretch of the imagination , i have a deep phobia for dogs and have since childhood , but this infuriates me, how and why could anybody be this heartless? i have no luck when it comes to dogs, especially the larger breeds. dogs don't respond well to me and often become aggressive around me, not their fault. they pick up on my fear and therefore don't understand my emotion and usually they interpret me as a threat. i understand fight or flight . its up to me to avoid them more than they should avoid me . but i swear if i ever came upon a situation such as this i would definitely do the same as that cop and hope for the best …how these so called animals lovers can treat any animal in this manner is beyond me . i enjoy watching animal rescues and sometimes wish i had the ability to do the same . people make me sick . if you can't love your pet then don't own one .
