  1. can we just pray for eevryone who might have died i am worried about japanese ones man they suffer more than us every yr and still are more advanced than us lol

  2. In my opinion tsunamis are the worst. I scarred myself watching a bunch of tsunami videos a while ago, so I knew immediately that the ocean video was a tsunami. Never again will I go to a beach 🤪

  3. Those last clips (ended at 23:44) were all of the meteor that exploded over Russia in 2013. It was the size of a 6 story building. And it exploded and the fragments landed in different places which was what caused the varying bangs and booms. It's not war or missiles. Space is not a safe place and the Earth is constantly at risk of getting hit by an asteroid.
Also: if you're ever near the shore and the sea starts to recede…RUN. That's the first sign of an imminent Tsunami. Also pay attention to the animals. If the animals are running, you should too.

  4. I have been caught in an earthquake! I live in Anchorage, Alaska. They are very scary. And some take a long time to go away. The thing about earthquakes that is the scariest is when it starts, you can't tell how bad it will be. And the initial shaking isn't how strong it is. It gets stronger and stronger. It's the unknown. Still love my state though.

  5. So for your question at 17:11 if it was a person: It doesn't look like it. I'm at least 99% sure that was just the railing from the balcony. You can kind of see the railing being ripped off prior to it looking like a person. I think it's just the way that it folded that made it look like a person

  6. The earthquake hit the Kansai Airport hard. And long. I watched that video. There were 2 mothers on the floor protecting their young child with their bodies during the earthquake. Afterwards, I believe everyone exited the airport. But, the authorities encouraged them to go back in – because when there's a strong earthquake, there's a strong possibility of a tsunami. Sure enough, the video shows the ocean coming towards the airport, pass it, etc.. It was violent waters. Scary.

The next video was also in Japan. It's a village by the sea. I would read the comments of these videos. People said that sometimes the people fled to the tsunami-designated hillside – and unfortunately, it wasn't high enough to protect them.

  7. I’m just sayin, imagine WW1 or WW2 if everyone had a phone like they do today. When WW3 eventually happens, people will end up with PTSD just from the videos. One of the first things that is likely to go out the window in another large scale war like that is the Geneva Convention.

  8. I grew up in California. I was a kid when the Northridge quake happened. One thing the videos I watch of earthquakes never capture is the noise. The rumbling of the ground is hard to describe. We had small quakes all the time, but the large ones, they are terrifying. Some roll, some are intense shaking. But the noise to me was terrrifying

  9. That one was a meteor, not a missal, so still a natural disaster. there are so many videos of that one. It shattered the glass of everything in it's path. That sound was the sonic boom it made as it went past

  10. man people are actually dying in this video. 🙁 My god those tsunamis were awful. People need to respect weather more and get to a safe place before recording/watching it. I feel so bad for those who did not make it. I have cried for every tsunami video I have seen knowing how helpless people were and how many died. The earthquake that started them was 5+ minutes long.

One of my friends was playing a game online with someone and they said they had to go the tsunami warning was going off. I hope they made it.

  11. They are not leaving because they are probably in a concrete structure on a higher floor and that is a better position than at street level when it hits. 🙁

  12. The humanity of your reactions is what makes you the best reaction guy on YouTube. Especially during the really tough-to-watch videos. It might not have been an easy watch, but this was your best video yet.

  13. The tsunami waves advanced at 160 kph (100 mph), leaving no time to escape by foot or realistically by car. Boatsmen fortunate to reach their their boats in time, took them out to sea and directed them straight into the 15.25 m (50 ft) waves to rescue their crafts.

Walls that were designed to defend against tsunamis were cleared by the Fukushima tsunami due to the unprecedented size of the 9.1 Sendai earthquake. Among them was the wall that defended the Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Ōkuma, Fukushima Prefecture. The company that ran the plant, TEPCO, has compensated victims, mainly thyroid cancer patients, at least GBR£46 billion (USD$63.3 billion).

    19,747 dead
    6,242 injured
    2,556 missing

Peak wave landing height: 40.5 m (133 ft) in Miyako, Iwate, Tōhoku.

  14. If you want a more uplifting video to react to….

go to MBest11x (Matt Best, owner of Black Rifle Coffee) YouTube channel. Watch the "If Veterans Were In Horror Films" series. He & his friends are hilarious!

  15. If you live near the ocean and the water disappears, RUN

I'm glad that where I live it's mostly hurricanes and we can have several days notice to prepare.

  16. Felt very mild shocks from a massive one that was in Mexico I was in San Diego California. A bit of shaking like a truck going past. Definitely wouldn't want to be in a massive one. Super scary cause there's not much u can do. Most weather you got some warning

  17. Yes, I have been through two very small earthquakes. One was in NY in 2010 or so when an earthquake hit off the coast near Washington, DC. The second was when I visiting a town south of Mexico City. At about 3 AM, my bed began to shake when a major earthquake hit off the coast of Acapulco in 2000.

I have been through many hurricanes and other crazy storms, but I haven't gone through is a tornado. Although I have seen some near my old home in New York.

  18. Hugs for Thurston.
It's completely fair for you to stop reacting to something if it's upsetting you like that. I'm glad you made the right call for yourself.
