6. Man… this is a really sad case of neglect and I'm glad Thaddeus had his dignity restored before passing away.
   In hindsight it may have been better to work more slowly on his hoofs without the general anaesthetic knockout. Knocking a human or animal out with general anaesthetic always carries some risk – it could have placed strain on his cardiovascular system and contributed to an earlier death unfortunately. Nevertheless, one can't always predict these things and proud of you guys for giving Thaddeus care and dignity.

7. I am part English part Irish and part Scottish and in my heart holds a very soft spot for Dogs and Horses. All Dogs and Horses go to Heaven. What you did for this horse who would have died in that filth and instead died in a heavenly setting. Thanks for giving Thaddeus a last few days of respite from his afflictions.

12. I am happy you gave the horse some incredible love and time at the end. As fahr as the abuser, the judge and most of the world are clueless, that is how I feel but, God will judge everyone again and that judgement will be fair, you can bet on that. Thank you for your love.

    these two lines had me crying more than I already was. like he knew you were coming to save him, and that he needed hang on for a little while longer, like he knew you would be the ones to give him all the care and love in the world. I know he got everything he wanted in his last weeks from you, you gave him the ending he deserved, and all the love he deserved. you really are doing gods work.     I foster dogs with high medical needs, but all of this applies to any rescuer.

    You don't always get very long, and your heart gets torn out repeatedly. After a particularly heart-wrenching death that made me want to quit fostering, Chris of the Mr. Moe's Project dog rescue told me something that has stayed with me. He said "You may not be ready for another dog, but there are dogs dying while they wait for you to be ready." That put my pain in perspective against their dire need.

    The other thing that helped – I saw only recently. It was an image of a woman mourning over her dog's grave. The caption was, "Remember that between, 'Hello' and 'Goodbye' there was love. So much love.

    There is solid truth in both statements that I hope will help you heal and carry on. What you do matters. Don't loose heart. I send this to you with much love.

And as someone else said, the look on his face when he gazed upon an open field…would have been 💯 worth it to me 🥰. 26. No Victory is too small when rescueing an abused animal. Even if we only get to dpend a small amount in the last days of their lives you can see how much Thadeus had changed bexause like you said he was finally saved but most of all he felt loved by all who were helping him to live.❤
