Sean Strickland before the title fight
So, which one of us gonna tell our dear Uncle this is Benny’s first 5 rounder🤣
If Benny wins by smoking that dude Arman in dominant fashion he will b a fight away from a title
Gaethje loses a title match, he fights a prospect and a vet. If Benny beats Arman and a vet, he’ll probably get a title shot. Colby hugs an old man for 25 minutes and he automatically gets a shot.
Dariush is a great fighter.
Every fighter has bad moments. Nobody knows how they will feel on any given day.
Chael, you had plenty of bad performance days, some just horrible.
he lost to Charles handily you aren't getting a title shot off a loss.
Justin Gaethje also did it. So he got title shot after Fiziev. I say Justin vs Bennie sounds like a dope fight regardless
I like ben but he needs to win in a big way and yes he's extremely unlucky but it doesn't matter his win streak or who he lost against because a lot of fans will only remember that his first big match he got KOed in the first round and if he lost or even win with a decision he will be relegated to the good but not good enough class who were impressive coming up but couldn't handle the top and it's pretty hard to change that perspective especially when the top 5 in 155 are rarely giving opportunities anyway so if he didn't win it's over while an impressive win will make fans recognise that he only lost to one of the best ever and he will get a title shot or at least a no 1 contender fight which he deserves it but he has a lot to gain and a lot to lose
It’s his first main event Chael 😂
Gotta love uncle. Right or wrong, such a good narrator, if you’re working on sales or communications, listen to this man.
They should do another fight night special event like the last Grasso fight, hell or their 3rd on ESPN + because SOME of these ppv’s aren’t worth it
No but I know a guy that has lost 6 in a row thats on the main card thats about to hand a English man a ass woopin
Strickland fought an unranked opponent and won the title the next fight.
They did the same thing last year with the wonder boy vs holland fight card in Orlando, it was stacked! If I remember correctly it was on dec 4th of last year so idk what it is about the first card of December but the ufc has something going on
People just generally don't like him as a personality. It's nothing against him. There's a reason Chuck, Brock, Connor, Diaz, etc are/were all so popular — they had edge. We are talking about cage fighting here. Even Khabib had some notable lines like "send me location" and "I'm gonna smesh your boy".
Chael wtf are you talking about this is benil's first ever main event???
I agree with Chael Benny has had probably the best record out of any fighter ever to not get a title shot. However I also think if he had beat Charles Olivera that case could have been made a lot stronger for his next fight to be a title shot against islam. Him losing that fight doesn’t help his argument for now
With Dustin, Justin, Charles, Michael, and Islam in the lightweight conversation it's no wonder that Beniel can't get a word in edgewise. His star power just doesn't come close to matching his quality. Uncle Chael often points out that card-placement is the ultimate indication of where a fighter stands in the promotion and it has little to do with how a fighter ranks in their division. So much is driven by hype and the casual fans.
Benny is a decent competitor, however he doesn't have the striking speed nor power to compete in the top 5 of the lightweight division.
Chael,Are you kidding!!?? I think about that alot lol!! I'm actually offended you actually think nobody has ever thought of that and saying you've never thought of that blow's my mind. My fav guy just made a crazy
statement.
I literally feel bad for beneil fans he makes Belal Muhammad look like ric flair
I know a guy that lost a fight by finish and then was main event for his next fight as a favourite his name is Sean Strickland
& judging by the attention this video is getting vs every other one you posted in the past 24 hours I’d say no one cares either.. :/
To answer your question there is someone who lost by finish whos already booked to main event a ppv his name is Alex volkanovski
Benny darouche
All the top guys when they lose still go into a main or co-main. Volkanovski, Oliveira, Usman, Masvidal, Gane, Diaz, Conor, Tony, Chandler, Poitier, Gaethje, Adesanya
Beneil is the biggest nobody in entire UFC 🙂 and I am from Iran but he is such a boring fighter
Benny talking like he didn't just have his shot and dropped the ball. You aren't going to get a title shot if you keep losing the interim fight.
Benny daroosh !! 😂😂😂
1st main event and 3-1 dog but everything still sounds right lol
I know a guy who was on 12 win strike and didn't get the title shot.
Benny is awesome! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
lmaoo
Tony Ferguson main evented arguably the biggest card this year coming off a 3 fight losing streak, where one of his losses was Daruish. He's a massive star
“There is a number of numbers…”
Belal has main evented a few times and hes never been given a title fight. This is Daruish's first main event
Ben pulls out of multiple fights a year… makes excuses before fights. And don't understand the modern ranks like he gets nothing from this fight he's a bum we know it..
How many main events has Benny been in Chael? CT is starting to catch up or what?
