  1. I think I didnt find the vr/ cinematic stuff to be that inconsistent. If there was a pre rendered cutscene, there's no physical assets to stay in vr for. But otherwise you'd move to 3rd person but in game… though idk why it's not only roundhouse& ladders. Not sure why boats& doors are 3rd person upon interaction or boarding.

and the beginning of re4 is different. Bryan isn't crazy thinking he didn't pee. He DOES pee, but totally different dialogue, and he actually makes it back. Cause guys don't need to go 100ft away to pee. ps2 is more clear of the presidents daughter initiative

  2. I've found that if you press Square and go to Check Equipment you can grab the pistol and move it to a slot right on your hip. You can't see the pitsol anymore, but everytime I reach down to my hip, I never fail to grab it. That combined with moving the ammo pouch as close as possible makes it feel much better

  3. Hi Bryan There has been some comments on various videos about RE4 being blurry and straining peoples eyes. A comment on another video really helped fixed it for me by turning down the VR brightness to 50%. It may be worth you briefly mentioning this in one of your videos. This game is going to end up top of my all time VR list, it's fantastic!

  4. Had a very similar experience to your guy's stream of re4. Definitely agree with all your opinions on the small issues but the game is still phenomenal. 👽💥

  5. At 1:04:50 Wow, that explains SO much now! Thank you! Like with GT7 my #1 biggest issue is by far is how easily you set off the virtual grid map in a car. It literally prevents you from looking at your car even in the VR showroom because if you go to turn around and look at the back seat it will most likely make the grid map pop up. I couldn't for the life of me think of why Polyphony Digital would do that but now it seems like it's a Sony restriction for head collision with objects and walls. Sony needs to understand that we need to have the option to turn that crap off if we want to. Hell, they can start the game with it on and when you turn it off it makes you click yes to an agreement that they're not liable or something. Options options options Sony!

  6. The reprojection in RE4 is affecting me in a way no other VR game has to date.

Even when moving, it’s constantly there, making the game seem much blurrier than Village. Also, the sense of “depth” isn’t as impressive as in Village. Anyone else?

  7. Same as you Brian, I was scared at the beginning, waiting for any jump scare, and after my first kill, it was ok, I was Leon the killing machine. I won't say this is a goty like a lot of people, because I love so much Synapse, GT7, and think I will adore Ancient Dungeon. But it is great to have a AAA on PSVR2, It's a great title, a great showcase to convince people there are good games to try on PSVR2, so I enjoy it as it is.

  8. Man. I just got RE4 Remake because i patiently waiting for VR to release. After playing a few hours of VR i decided to check out flat mode just to see how it felt and holy crap the difference. Aiming seems so difficult in flat mode i struggle to hit my targets. Everything just feels sluggish as well. I could tune the sensitivities but im just going off default settings. The controls are so good in VR its not even fair.

  9. Tbf, Village being in first person made the job a lot easier. Re4 being third person cant give you proper fps cinematics because what you need to see is seen in third person.

  10. Yeah, Ancient Dungeons is great. He's been working on this game for ages and the effort really shows. I'm glad to see people finally seeing it and talking it up because it deserves the attention it's getting. I hope it sells a ton because it would be a shame for people to pass it up just because of how the visual style looks in trailers. These graphics look fantastic in VR.

  11. You live streaming solo is probably the problem. I bet getting someone on discord and chat interact would be waaay better. I hate streaming solo but loved streaming with friends.

  12. I understand that not having the cut scenes in 3d probably saved time but the round house kicks, jumping off stuff and climbing ladders take me out of the game. I’m sure there is a reason for it but I’d be curious to know why they made that choice

  13. To say “it has trophies” is not entirely correct. It doesn’t for me, apparently because I already earned the trophies by playing the flat version. What I was hoping for, with this, as well as with Village VR, was for it to have trophies for playing the VR mode. After all, they treated both of these VR “modes” as if they were separate games (by the fact that game saves are separate from the main game), so if we have to play from scratch and earn all our money and weapon upgrades all over again, I think we should earn the trophies again too. On the plus side, we do get to carry over our CP rewards from the flat version, such as the Primal Knife, Chicago Typewriter Tommy Gun, Magnum pistol, Cat Ears (giving Leon infinite ammo), and Ashley’s “invincibility” suit of armor.

  14. Surprised at the negativity about resi 4, not so much from you guys but from others I’ve seen commenting online. I think it’s phenomenal so far. It’s a shame it’s missing some VRAF features that village had, but I think we should get used to that if Sony is to push forward with its Hybrid model.
The game more than makes up for it with great shooting and haptics.
I miss the horror from 7/8 but hopefully Madison will fill that void soon

  15. Before you get too far I HIGHLY recommend you begin a new play through on Hardcore difficulty.

The intensity is wayyyyy better than normal mode (which feels way too easy). The starting Village section felt 3x longer and the enemies pursued you way harder including the chainsaw dr.

  16. RE4 on psvr 2 is incredible. I loved village in VR but RE4 is better. Graphics are beautiful and performance is buttery smooth. That section with the canyon with the bridges with all the enemies is staggering. I think the transittons from 1st to 3rd person work well. I have no issue with a button press to open doors etc.

  17. I received my Gobular cluster just in time for all these new releases. I'm telling you, if you own a psvr2 you are hindering yourself by not getting one of these!! The comfort level of my headset now is INSANE! I can now wear the headset for HOURS without any discomfort or fatigue. The only thing that now makes me take the headset off is my eyes after all these hours.

Do yourself a favor and buy one of these things before they go out of stock, yet again. The customer service is also insane and extremely generous.

This has been a "The more you know…. 🌟" moment 😊

  18. I strongly preferred re4 over re8 because it is more of an action game. I beat re8 in flat mode but couldn’t get past the castle because I got too spooked. Re4 is more action focused and I’ve been loving it!

  19. Dude my vr mode won’t work when I download it it says main game not installed. But if I download the demo it goes in to that file. I have the disc and it’s not working anyone else having this issue???? I NEED HELP

  20. Wasn’t a fan of RE Village, so I’ll skip RE4. But I just downloaded Ancient Dungeon and I’ll play it after my son and I finish the Hard mode of the Meow Wolf course. I remember trying Ancient Dungeon on the Quest 2 like a year ago, maybe, when it was on that special side store thing. Made me sick! But I’m used to VR now, so looking forward to it.

  21. Re 4 Remake imo runs very nicely and gives a nice transition from 1st person to 3rd person. In the end immersion is completely different and somewhat a different game. If you ask a veteran opinions about the game they want to be in control with every single mechanic and it goes to most VR games. With some regards to not picking up every item. Automatic door opening or holding a button, 3rd person changes, ladder climbing. Quality is beautiful imo that was my biggest worries as some be games can be very motion sickening with low quality but the psvr2 definitely help. De lago fight was really smooth and didn’t give me any motion sickness.

  22. Bryan seems like you had a bad experience streaming res 4. Prob best to just review it in your own time so more comfortable. I am 5 hours in and its astounding. Some gamers just love job sim, vacation sim type games where they can make their own fun balancing jars, throwing balls etc. I would rather big flat games not as interactive in vr uncharted, tlou etc but each to their own.
