37. Anyone notice that Uncle Vernon hoped that Harry would get the death penalty in Order of the Phoenix. There's an argument that the Dementor's Kiss is a form of death penalty in the wizarding world. So the fact that Harry saved Dudley from a dementor attack, Uncle Vernon was hoping his son would get the wizarding death penalty too. Both penalties are equal in my view, you lose your soul with the Kiss, so you might as well be dead.
