  1. Your trailer reminds me of my old '73 Mack. I put a 13' dump bed on it, that's what fit without stretching the frame. Then built up about 4' more of wood sides. It carried over 4 cords. Your trailer brushing that tree limb reminded me of a nightime delivery in the big city. Guy had an empty lot next to his house. He was on the ground, guiding me. Dumped the load pulling forward. Seemed like 50 yds. Suddenly fire and sparks! He had led me right into an overhead extension cord for his garden shed. Backed under it fine, couldn't see it in the dark, caught it with the bed up. He wanted me to pay big bucks to fix it. Well, we had a difference of opinion. He later had a lawyer call me to threaten lawsuit. From things they both said,, I got the feeling that the order, the time, and the guiding me in were all part of a setup to intimidate and overwhelm the dumb ol' boy from the country. When the lawyer found I had had a buddy with me, he hung up the phone. Never heard from them again. So, if you ever need lessons on diplomacy, my buddy is the man! – Your charging wire in the middle of your 7 wire plug ought to keep your dumper battery fully charged without further help. Maybe check connections for a little corrosion.

  2. Yeah nice trailer, we see plenty of those up here in Canada eh! They're all over the place. I have a Millroad Manufacturing DUMP trailer with high, high walls since I haul entire tree's in it. N&N's are great, so are Millroad's, BeWise are good too. Trailer fun eh lol.

  3. My IronBull also has that relieve valve, mine has gone up $500 or so since i bought it 2 yrs ago, 7x14x2 3 way tailgate, 14k(tandom 7k axles), 5k empty, 1.5 cords thrown in 2.3 cords stacked

  4. Hey Chris awesome video, something to think about is a trap spring assist kit. I just recently up graded for the same trailer you have to a brand new 2024 7×14 N&N dump trailer

  5. I was going to buy an N&N. It was only about 1k more than my Lamar. Closets dealer was Thumb and I didn’t want to be twelve Hours away from my dealer! Great trailers. See ya tomorrow 👍🏻👍🏻GNI

  6. U been talking bout getting a new truck I hear the dealers are chock full of 2023 models and just dying to unload them u should be in the prime to get what ever u want by end of the yr

  7. Ok now what do you get if you stack to the top of the metal sides and what you get if you stack even with tailgate or top of first side board. Seeing you get 5 face cords to top of top side board i wonder if you heap the top of that stacked or loose if you can pull off a face cord for 2 full coards ???

  8. Thanks to your videos, I bought a 6’10” x 12 version from Thumb as well. We drove it back to Alaska via Eastonmade and it’s been absolutely flawless this winter. I’m surprised I haven’t seen another galvanized dump here. It’s awesome!

  9. Mark seems to be a great guy and customer to boot, I almost cringed waiting for this dump to crinkle the siding on the garage as it tumbled out but you averted damage. Have you been giving any more consideration to a new trailer and its size smaller, bigger or another of the same size is it the same as firewood more is better?🤔 I am sure you will get whatever size trailer best fits YOUR intended purpose.

  10. Very nice trailer. And a great state to go get it at. The thumb is surrounded by greatwalleye waters to fish. Sorry Chris had to tell of the fishing here.
The small pieces that you split have to be much easier to laid too.

  11. A local trailer dealer in my area started selling galvanized trailers this past summer and they didnt stick around very long. My trailer doesn't see salt so thats it's saving grace, it's a Big Tex 7×16 and still looks new after 2 or 3 years now. One of the best things to do for a painted trailer is spray everything down when new with either Fluid Film or Krown undercoating one e a year, I prefer Krown and it might look dirty but won't rust! And if your using it during the winter take it to a car wash once in a while.
