  1. My younger male would often cross the line with my older male like this 😅 it would be hard to tell bc my older cat would be like "ok ok ill humor the young one" but the second he was done w it and my younger one wanted to keep playing he was gonna let him know 🤣

  2. There is a bit more nuance than this but these are good basic rules.

Keep in mind that kittens will floof their tails at anything. It definitely does not always mean they are going to be aggressive. In fact, it almost never means that, when they are very young. And many adult cats will floof the tail, even in play.
Yowls ALWAYS mean they are serious, about to lose their minds and about to go into damage mode.
PS….water spray bottles are indispensable. In an intense fight, clapping may not work.

  3. "Never get between two fighting cats…"
No…get your pet dog to do it. They're renowned for breaking up cat fights. Most dogs don't like when other dogs, cats and ever humans fight. They're instinctual pack animals and in-fighting isn't good for a packs wellbeing or cohesion.

  4. My younger cat always attacks the older because she wants to play, but then the older smacks back and they get on their nerves and start biting and hissing and I have to yell at them to stop, clap, or stomp on the ground so they run away in separate directions

  5. We don't need a tutorial to find out if they are fighting or playing. THEY MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE GETS TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE FIGHTING

  6. No,if they are really fighting and if one of them is your cat, beat the other cat as much as you can and get your cat,he/she will respect you for assisting,if both are yours then just separate them and put them in different rooms for some time,if none is yours then just enjoy watching them fight(unless they're female)

  7. What do u do if ya gotta cat or 3 and there's a new gsd dog and the cat tried to fight the dog even backed into a corner he just stood up tried to fight without any claws 😂 in worried the dog might hurt him but she's a good dog but I can't get them socialized cuz the cat wants to fight it instead of be friendly like IDK what to do we can't just keep having them fight they gotta live together

  8. I have two grown cats one of them is very submissive and before the video I didn’t know how to tell so I just kinda picked one of them up and put them away NOW I NOW THEY WAS MOST LIKELY PLAYING

  9. This is Exactly what I was looking for I got two kitten the older kitten keep attacking the smaller one till a point she follows me.
I let them work it out till now party over. I'm buying a good water gun! 💧

  10. I once shared a 2 bedroom 2nd., story apt., in L.A.
( Calif. ) When there was a " Cat Fight " in progress,
I would see my room-mate get a Bucket of Cold Water
and Dump it Off of the Balcony Onto the Cats !
So I tryed it once myself on " One Cat " and when I
released the water, I saw it Shape itself into the shape
of a " Soap Bubble " and Discinigrate into a Multitued of drops, & the Cat below ( about 5 feet from it ) sensed it and began running, but to No Avail. Because the water caught up to the cat, And Soaked the cat and cat's feet were slipping on the weat patio ! What a Sight !

  11. To " End a Cat-Fight " one of the " Most Effective ways
is to use Water, " Especialy Cold Water " Either Throw on-to the Cats or Preferably Spray them !
" It Will Break Up the fight " !

  12. This information is not entirely accurate. Ears going back is a sign of aggression and/or fear, but it can also happen during play. And laying belly up is not a submissive position for cats – it means they have all four four paws to attack with. But again, it does happen with play behavior. In my experience, the best way to tell whether cats are fighting or playing is the noise level. If there's growling, yowling, etc, then it's a real fight. If it happens in near total silence, it's just play. If one of them meows or hisses and the other immediately backs off, it means the 2nd one crossed a line and the 1st one just told him off. It was most likely just an accident, and they'll usually go right back to playing, unless the line crossed was "I'm tired of this game".
