TOP 20 Scariest Tornado Videos Ever Recorded

Spread The Viralist

Most tornadoes can be scary, especially the violent tornadoes that we see reduce homes to bare slabs in some instances. These beasts can kill entire families, annihilate neighborhoods, and change cities forever. Nowadays, we can record these monstrous storms and see a first person perspective on how devastating they can be. But what are some of the most frightening tornado videos recorded? This video will showcase them.

This is a video that is based solely on my opinion, though I believe these are some truly scary tornado vids. The factors, for me at least, in ranking these videos were either the tornado’s intensity or its looks, or both.

I couldn’t actually use some of the videos I wanted due to them copyrighted, but I found equivalent videos that to me are just as scary. Please enjoy!

  1. The lil poor mexican village vids are not worthy of this video American tornadoes much more tragic no one cares if some smelly 3rd world slums hit but one pretty lil Kansas city girl lost should be world news thats sad

  2. The people in the beer cooler, including the woman praying to Jesus, show the good hearts of Midwestern folks. With the young guys saying “I love you” to a group of strangers

  3. Underrated how you just get into the video. No long drawn out intro or extra bs. This is golden-age youtube style and I appreciate you for that. Also great choices for your top 20!

  4. If I'm not mistaken for #1, Clem's wife was over at the house across the street from him with a neighbor and she sadly passed away from it. One of the most terrifying tornado videos not on this list is the Warner Robbins Tornado. You can see the house right across being lifted off the ground.

  5. The "it's almost here" lady was so frightening! Like she was saying their end is almost there fuckkkk. I grew up with these being constant threats. I definitely think it shaped my anxious personality/anxiety and also fascination with weather at the same time. Nightmare fodder and humbling

  6. Of course number 1 makes sense but the guy on his porch in Illinois who gets hit by an EF4 and is squashed by his fridge isn't oh here at all! The redneck guy who tells his wife leave the basement door open for him then proceeds to wait and wait, and starts to retreat and gets blasted. That's number 2 in my book.
