3. Guinea Pigs are great with people's with ptsd and my 2 Guinea Pigs are so smart they follow me around the room and I injoy having my 2 Guinea Pigs I got Jan 2023 from someone who couldn't take care of them because of school

10. I have a Guinea Pig named Oliver and he is a handsome Boy I wouldn’t trad him for the world

11. Its weird.

    My guinea is like…the inverse of every guinea pig mentality.

    He is a solitary pig; bringing him to a pet store to get him treats and food, and showing him to other pigs cause we wanted to get him a buddy; he started teeth grinding and clawing at the glass. He does NOT like other pigs.

    Hes very quiet: rarely if ever wheeks, and when he does, its incredibly quiet.

    He hates having hay in his enclosure, and will actively push it all into one location to keep it clean.

    He has ZERO fear of larger animals; he will actively chase my cat around the apartment, and she wants nothing to do with him.

    He doesnt hide; made a hidey box for him, and he just uses it as a step stool or to store food and nothing else.

    Hes a weird litte guy and we love him to pieces.

25. As a guinea pig owner imma go a yall new piggies owners a few tip:
    1guinea pigs need cage cleaning once a week,I usually do it on Saturdays
    2 make sure you get a big enough cage for your piggies and make sure u have two so your futry friends don’t get lonely

37. I adopted two guinea pigs and they’re not low maintenance. You have to clean their cage practically every day. It was so exhausting taking care of them I would not recommend guinea pigs as a beginner pet.😅
