Many years ago I was learning to drive. I was 16 my mom was in the passenger side. We was going down a road sort of in the country. I see a group of deer ahead in the dark. So i slow down and stop in the middle of the road. My yells why are you stopping. I point and say those deers. She sees them ahead go in the road. If I had not slowed and stop i would have hit the little ones. The mother deer stares my car. My mom says how did you see them in the darkness. I said I just did and i felt something i can't explain. The deers walk up to the drive side door. I just roll the window down. I say hey mamma look at your babies. She reaches her head in and licks my cheek. I say aww your welcome. I think she was thanking me for not hitting them. She and her little ones jog into the woods. I drove away. My mom said I never seen anything like that or heard of anything like that. What was that. I said she was thanking me for not hitting them. Now when I drive I have never hit a animal. I have avoided hitting many. I just feel them and look for them.

Tbf they didn’t know cause they didn’t try.. but it’s not impossible the adults would have let the humans touch and help the baby.. yes safety first but we can’t just assume they would allow it.. they have other videos on YouTube where this happens..
Important to note.. BODY DESIGN limits elephant from doing certain things.. example lack of slime slender body with arms makes it nearly impossible for elephant to unstuck itself from its back in a ditch.. I hear some ppl sometimes saying “if intelligent why can’t the get themselves unstuck” in tell them the same reason if ur brain was in their body and u hand no arms with hands to help and a body too big to easily twist and turn.. sane reason dolphins arguable just as intelligent as humans and more intelligent language wise lack human body to unbeach themselves… imagine a dolphin saying “if intelligent why not just learn to float and not drown” to a human.. 😂
