  1. I just love this story. Thor has landed on his gorgeous wee paws with his wonderful new family. That sleep waffling made my heart melt 🥰🐶❤️🫶🏼 Sending virtual hugs from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  2. Reading some of your comments. I recalled.. that there were a few stories I read about pit bulls being poisoned in their own yard. Just be watchful. Society stereotypes this breed as you probably know.

  3. It is absolutely heartbreaking when people avoid a dog just because that dog is a certain breed. Sadly, this breed is almost always the pit bull. Too many people are toxic.!! Their level of ignorance is disheartening. It is very unfair that people stereotype others. If we really took the time to think about it, I am sure we would realize that a lot of us have more in common than we thought. Most people, and furry babies too, primarily want to be loved. I hope we can figure this out soon. I am losing faith in humanity 🤬😢

  4. That was heartbreaking when you said that when you go out other dogs get petted by strangers but he doesn't and he'll get sad and watch. That's soul destroying. I'd pet him. I'll make an extra effort from now on myself. I'm so glad he has you two ❤

  5. This dog deserves the world. So glad he was saved. Hes like my Heart outside of my body is the perfect statement, and that people should be out adopting dogs from shelters because they're missing out on great dogs (cats, etc). Well wishes to you and yours. Please Rescue, Adopt dont shop, Spay & Neuter, Foster, Volunteer, Donate, please do something.

  6. I have a female rescued dog that looks a lot like this with slightly shorter legs and a bad DIY ear crop also. She has a pot belly because she was in a backyard breeding situation we think. Short stocky legs and disproportionately large black paws that are so fat and blunt and furry I call them her "tarantula paws". We think she's a "designer bully" like yours which means a mix of various Bulldogs– French bulldog, pitbull, English bulldog, and pocket pittie etcetera. Supposedly the idea is to make a dog that is a great pet but looks incredibly fierce. They use French Bulldogs for their small stature and adorably stubborn and vocal personalities. But the big wombat ears keep them from looking Fierce so they crop their ears very short to make them look like those Gothic/Viking Pitbulls with spiked collars. And people are afraid of her too especially because she's solid black with black eyes and just a little white on her chest. And actually mine has a cement block of a head with a super powerful jaw just like Thor where she could literally bite my hand off like a twig but she doesn't know it. And just doesn't have any urge to do so. She is stubborn and mischievous but not at all aggressive. She does the whining and the huffing/snorting for attention and the play growling and the head tossing sort of things to try to get her way and she's also just plain pushy, putting her paw on my thigh or my shoulder to demand affection, following me everywhere and laying forlornly by her food dish when she wants a between meals snack (which is pretty much all the time) hogging the bed, and so forth. But there's not a mean bone in her body. When she's really, really trying to get my attention and being incredibly naughty she'll start chewing on the furniture right next to me and of course with a jaw like hers she can devastate a wooden chair leg very quickly. When she decides to get the toe of my shoe instead she'll chew it ever so delicately (which of course still could total the shoe) looking at me out of the corner on her eyes the whole time and making the rubber squeak so I'll notice …all in slow motion to see if I noticed how "threatening" she is. Of course I just take it away from her. And I mean the shoe is on my foot when this is happening. When she was found on the streets of Austin Texas she was starving to death with lots of parasites inside and out and nearly bald from mange. She was on her last leg and they weren't sure she would make it at all. She did in spite of having severe epilepsy. It's hard to tell how long a dog like that lives because a bulldog's lifespan is 9 years and with a dog that is a mixture of longer-lived dogs it could be anything. We don't see any gray hair yet and we're counting on having her a while longer but she could be Thor's sister for sure all except for the color. Too bad they can't be Pals.

  7. I've learned so much about "love" from loving animals like Thor — focusing on the present and not letting the past get in the way of me loving those around me.
    Thank you for the video.
