It was so one sided for beterbiev i was really shocked, i shouldnt have been though really – the Canelo fight was so one sided too, i think Smith is/was just a bit overrated and VERY very inactive over the course of his career.. i think theres fights left for him, maybe an arthur/yarde/buatsi sort of fight. It didnt look like Calum had any desire in either the Canelo or the Beterbiev fight, it looks like hes a bit of a bully – when the going gets tough, his head drops and he doesnt wanna know.

9. I think Smith could bounce right back and take on Yarde when he's ready. Look, he got a big paycheck and went 6 full rounds with a guy some boxers never lasted 3 rounds with. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger in the long run.

16. Would have been better had Smith had a few more tests at LH before jumping in with the man himself. There was always those fighters mentioned- Yarde, Buatsi, Arthur, Azeez etc.
    It now looks better for Yarde as he actually got through to Beterbiev and gave him a hard night's work. Moving on, Buatsi will soon get his chance against the phenomenal Beterbiev/Bivol.
    Callum Smith vs Yarde would be a good UK showdown.

31. Callum Smith took some serious stick. His face was looking a bit of a mess and yet Berterbiev looked unmarked. Smith had never been put down – Berterbiev just too strong and punches very accurate.
