   Her mom was doing it. It started before she even reached the age of morality, to know right from wrong. She was enduring torture bc someone else. She didn't knowingly agree as a child to scam ppl and she'll go ahead and have eye operated on why not.. good grief! Besides the fact she's not out here saying she's got this that and the third trying to get money.

24. Uhhh…she was a child being controlled by her mother…a child doesn’t know how to get away and many times is too afraid to ask others for help. She was being abused by this mother…having to undergo all of what she was put through….in my opinion someone who has been abused (mentally and emotionally) for years from early childhood and on…shouldn’t be locked up in jail for doing what was needed to get away from that abusive monster. Yes…someone who has to kill to get away from someone abusive should have to undergo therapy to make sure they aren’t in fact just a killer or a bad person….but people who are abused are just trying to get away…they are acting in self defense in my opinion….especially when they have been abused like this for many years and especially when that abuse starts in childhood. Basically she was abused for years by her monster mother…and then punished for trying to break free…which is double abuse. And yes I understand that she could have just told the police….but I also really doubt anyone would have listened to her or believed her or done anything to help her. Her mother could have killed her with all the stuff she put her through…or just killed her for the attention…she felt in danger being with a mother like that.

What most of you don't understand, she didn't kill her mom because of the abuse and fake illness etc.. she killed her mom because she wanted to leave with a boy, if anything she never knew her mother was lying about her illnesses until after she got arrested. That's why she went to jail, she killed somebody not as of self defense, the motive was to flee with a boy. (Futur lawyer here). Hope ya'll understand now and stop saying she didn't deserve this or blah blah blah, if anything they reduce her sentence because of the abuse she undergone before. If you go back to her interview with the detective, you could see how she was lying over and over pretending to not know anything about the murder, if the motive was about the fake illness, she would have brake down and tell the whole truth on the first place. Hope ya'll understand now.

26. For the reporter to insinuate that Gypsy Rose new what her mother was doing and also that she was a part of it is fucking sick. Gypsy was a child, and even if she had a small inkling of what her mother was doing that doesn't mean she wasn't scared out of her mind to report her.

The abuse and suffering she went through probably no one will ever know , I’m not saying anything but I think there is more to this story than what she is saying . Her Ex boyfriend he’s committed the crime yes but she gets 9 years and he gets life ? I’m just saying they should interview the boyfriend and see if the pieces match that all .
    There is alot of grey areas in this .
