I've been hearing a lot about a super volcano under Yellowstone national park, that lately has seen a lot of seismic activity, if it were to erupt, the whole mid section of the USA plus most of west coast is gone.
There’s this manga called the the future I see by tatsuki ryo. If I’m not mistaken the manga was made in 1995. She has some wild predictions that came true and one of them covid 2020. Mount Fuji erupting is one of them and she has Yokohama Japan getting a natural disaster as well
Sad reality is the earth can’t sustain 7 billion people, and we are already passed that… earths resources are being sucked out. More people= more pollution. Eventually Mother Nature will step in and do what it always does to protect the earth. A catastrophic disaster will either wipe us out completely or wipe out a large number. Not saying it’s any time soon but it will eventually happen.
Uhhhhhh the Ridgecrest fault is nowhere near San Jose, Oakland or San Francisco as it is in Ridgecrest, CA 100+ miles north east of Los Angeles.

Scare mongering, yes any of these could happen, but very unlikely in the next ten year and also unlikely in most of our life times.
They will happen but just when is the motive behind the sensationalism: Being in it will not be so sensational.

Megathrust earthquakes if the fault ruptures several hundred miles do register the largest quakes the planet can produce. Average time for these momentum magnitude 9.0 and above is around 16-22 year range. Great news is since 2004 what science learned to what we know today is like night and day now. Early warning systems like japan for example will give people 2-3 minutes of warning before say the slower damaging "s" waves hit that area. With education of the people in knowing what to do what a bug out bag is how to use it etc for short and long term survival would save or prolong thousands peoples lives by itself. Basically where you live and how you build matter as well the entire Pacific should adopt their superior building standards. Their new wall they built in NE Japan for example will handle a 100 foot tsunami it cost 13 billion and took some time to build but its magnificent and will save those port towns all along its length.
