🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. My friends tried to get me to eat iguana when I was in Mexico years ago. But thankfully, they missed every shot, and the iguana got away. That was around 20 years ago. Today, I'd like to think I'd try it. But 20 years ago, no way.

  2. 😮😮😮 All the pigeons I’ve shot feed on grains, just like doves. From what I’ve seen and know birds that eat roadkills and trash are vultures and buzzards. 😅😅😅

  3. Governments, always getting in the way of people living their lives. Something that could reduce Puerto Rico's dependence of imported food, but for no particular reason, the government makes it illegal.

    Too many government regulations….

  4. I've been to PR at least a dozen times with a friend who lives there. I've had nothing but fantastic food and genuine hospitality. There's a place in San Juan where the first Pina Collada was made. Not sure on the authenticity but the drinks are awesome. When they go to the grocery the very first thing they do after putting frozen food in the freezer is to start marinating the week's meat. Just to cook a steak right out of the fridge with a little salt and pepper is not acceptable.
