   This helped me VERY much cause my parakeet(boy)doesn't rlly like me and I still try to be friends with him and now I know what to DON'T do to a parakeet/budgie.
   Ruby(female budgie)is very fast and scared so if I take her out of the cage she flies everywhere and in some places we cant go or arrive.
   My closet where it has my chlothes,up on it there are boxes(cause there is my brother,mom and dad's closet and there are many boxes up on them) and ruby goes there.

   Please help me cause Idk how can I make her calm and gain trust.

4. Hi Denny, thanks for cheeping out against cutting wings, little birds are built to fly, their muscles are arranged so that they can fly. Many budgies in the wild fly 200 miles a day. Did you know that most tap water is poisonous to birds as it contains chemicals, such as chlorine? Ma gets bottled water or collects fresh rain water for us. We visited your store, so many lovely birdie items for sale, we had a job to get Ma away from the store.

8. I have to take my budgies with me when I travel. They live in a very big cage, parrot size, which I can't take. They refuse to go into the smaller cage by themselves. They tell me "absolutely not mom, we live in a mini-mansion and you want us to go into that small cage because you can't just stay home where we are comfortable". How am I supposed to transfer them without catching them in my hand?

10. My bird when i try ro pick her up i just try to see if she wants to stand on my finger my other bird has to sit in hers chage beacuse She can fly but i cant pick her up its goana be ahard but i still let her fly

13. I seriously don't understand at all why someone would get a PET BIRD and then clip its wings. It's sort of what birds are known for. Perhaps get a cat or dog if you want a pet that can't fly…?

I would like to have a tip, i have two budgies and i want them to be happy, and i also have cats, so my problem is that when i want to let them out of the cage, i have to put all my cats in one room. That means i cant let my budgies out often, and i cant let them out for long periods, but the problem is that they dont trust me enough for me to put them back in their cage, so i know really well that i shouldnot, but Sometimes i have to grab them in order to put them back in. I feel so bad because they hate it and i know it doesnt help them trust me
    But i simply dont know what els to do, can you guys help me ? I really want them to trust me and be happy

22. Petsmart clips bird wings, my mom bought ours from there, currently growing the wings out (we have no animals and someone always has to be WITH the bird when out, so ppl know thats where the bird is)

26. When I clean my birds cage then they stay inside the cage because one time one of them flew behind the closet. He luckly came out. Is it ok for them to stay in the cage? (I have to argapornis personatus, I don't know the english word)

40. Also its quite common to just keep one budgie alone. If you have ever seen an aviary compared to one single budgie, you now what happy budgies really look like. Please keep at least two, so they have one another and not just humans who are away most of the day. 🙂

41. 5:15 Buy a cage/voliere big enough thats the birds can fly. Clipping feathers is like amputate your thumbs.
