Towns in southeast and western Queensland are preparing their canoes and tinnies, with much of the state submerged following extreme rainfall.
Parts of Brisbane’s north, Moreton Bay, the Lockyer Valley and Somerset regions and Darling Downs are enduring flooding amid heavy rainfall across southeast Queensland.
Residents of Caboolture (Lower King St and Mary St) and the rural suburb of Beachmere in the Moreton Bay region, north of Brisbane, have been told to prepare to leave their homes due to rising floodwaters.
