6. A cat adopted some friends of mine. They had the cat for two or three years until they had to take it to the vet for something. The vet scanned it and found it belonged to someone else. They got in touch with the people, who said the cat had moved out at the same time they had their new baby. When asked if they wanted the cat back, they said the cat obviously preferred to be with my friends, so they allowed it to be properly adopted.

17. I wonder when Oakley was transported to Ohio. I too got a kentucky puppy that was transported to Michigan. I was told by the rescue that Kentucky has a high kill rate due to so many animals that even pregnant dogs would be put down if not for these transports. Since Ohio borders Michigan I can see them dropping off a number of dogs per state. My puppys mama was one of the lucky pregnant pups.

20. Someone is really missing him. Should have been microchipped, but it’s great he’s been adopted.

33. He has such a beautiful sweet nature. You can just tell how much he loves people & cuddles. And that adorable smile at the end (on-command) was just perfect. Big shout out to his Dad too, for loving Oakley so much that he will happily endure his allergies so he can snuggle up with him. Dog's really do, just make the world a much better place, don't they? 🐶❤👍

34. She worries about his prior owners and wonder if they are looking for him. Unlikely much since if they really wanted their dog they would post everywhere, go to the local rescues that rescued him, etc. and not give up. So, she should not worry too much and if they find this GeoBeats story and want him back, I wouldn't give him up.
